I’ve been going to Dr. Peter Amamn since I was two years. He has always been a compassionate and detialed doctor. Anything that has happened to my health from an asthma Attack to other illnesses, he’s been my #1 go to. I’m now an adult and still go his office when needed. I would recommend him as a family doctor to anyone.

Dr. Amann has been my doctor since Dr. Kirsch left Maine Medical Partners Scarborough Family Physicians and I can't say enough how happy I am. He has been excellent in both maintaing and continuing my care, not only staying healthy but in improving my health. He encourages a healthy diet and regular exercise, which I believe is the cornerstone of optimal health, but will prescribe medicine when appropriate. He has been a catalyst in me living a higher quality life! Thanks MMP and Dr. Amann!

I had to see Dr Peter Amann because my primary wasn't available for me to see. During the exam, he told me to wait a week to see if I got any worse and to call next week. So I waited a week and got much worse and when I called the nurse to now get some antibiotics, the dr did not call me back. I then had to call the answering service to now get the Dr on call who didn't know how to read my charts and told me that because she didnt know me I would now have to go to a walk in clinic since it was now 7pm or wait for the morning to call for an apt. I ended up going to the walk in and had the best care ever. I will NEVER see Dr Peter Amann again and advise everyone else not to see him either. Because of Dr Peter Amann, I have suffered for two weeks more than what was necessary and almost had my ear drums rupture. I will not be going back to the practice where he is working.

I don't be leave he looks at his patients as individuals more like a bunch ofnumbers he reads on his computer screen worst doctor I ever had and I don't trust him
