Linford Stillson's Online Review Report Card

When Dr. Stillson, who had been my PCP for decades, decided to be part of MDVIP, I knew I would "follow" him, but wondered about the financial wisdom in that since I am not a "heavy user." Oh, my! I have maybe never in my life made such a good decision. He is funny, smart, makes the best medical decisions for me, knows me better than I know myself and has shown himself to be the best diagnostician (since when I go the specialists, they always come up with what he said initially). When I call for an appointment, I do, indeed, get in usually the next day. Even at 70, I'm still not a frequent user but when I need or want his sage and kind words, he is always there. And that is worth every penny.

Dr. Stillson was my Dr for years, but when he joined the MDVIP program, I could not afford the membership. Going through finding a replacement was futile. As it stands, I have chosen the hardship of paying the MDVIP membership. Dr. Stillson listens and hears what you are saying. He has helped me through some very stressful situations and has been willing to try some of the more unconventional methods I have suggested. He and his staff make you feel as though you are the only patient. I highly recommend him.

He is a thorough doctor generous with his time, smart, and available. Only suggestion would be faster turn-around for communication from staff.

I LOVE my doctor!! And I can not say enough about how much the MDVIP program has affected the level of personalized care I receive with Dr. Stillson. He is fantastic and I know I am in good hands with him in every way when it comes to my health all the way around the board. I wasn't sure about the MDVIP program at first because of the added yearly cost but after almost two years in the program now I can honestly say that it is worth every single penny!!

doesn't follow up, difficult to get appointments, staff doesn't return calls

Dr. Stillson always takes plenty of time with each patient, he doesn't rush through appointments. He is an excellent doctor and truly cares for his patients.

I've been with Dr. Stillson for many years, and follow him when his office locations changed, no matter where. He is the most caring physician I have ever had the pleasure to see and I know when I'm there that all of his attention is on me. My health issues are often abnormal and a challenge to determine the diagnosis, but if Dr. Stillson does not know the answer immediately (which is rare) I know he researches for the answers and gets back to me. Even if he needs to refer to a specialist, I find his referrals are quality men like Dr. Stillson. I may wait a bit to see him, but the wait is worth it!

I have been with Dr. Stillson for around 14 years now. I have never felt rushed at an appointment with him. I am a 100% Service Connected Disabled Veteran, so I have seen many too many doctors, and Specialty doctors. Dr. Stillson has always been very good at referring me to Specialty Doctors, if he has any questions he isn't familiar with. He will be the 1st one to say I'm not sure let me send you to a Neurologist to get their opinion, instead of leading a patient on guessing he knows a diagnosis, like other Doctors do.Dr. Stillson has been very good to me writing numerous letters to VA to help push along my Disability Case with them. When I have been in the Hospital after all 3 of my Spinal Surgeries, Dr. Stillson has been right there to see me everyday, even though I am under the Neurologists responsibility. There isn't another Doctor I have seen that has shown how much he truly cares about his patients, like he would if it was his family!!! You can't find that kind of care anywhere these days, as it has become all about QUANTITY OF PATIENTS AND NOT QUALITY LIKE HE GIVES!!!!
