Lawrence Desjarlais Md's Online Review Report Card

Appointment with Dr Desjarlais to review severe rash on top of both forearms. Biopsy was taken on the UNDERSIDE of the right forearm where NO rash was present. Biopsy should have been taken on top of the arm where rash was present. Biopsy report was negative. I discussed this with Dr Desjarlais on my next visit,but no credible explanation was given.

Excellent, kind caring...a Motivated Doctor, his staff is also 5 star. He did not make me come in and pay for an appointment to update upgrade medication. Highly recommend.

This clinic is more interested in cosmetic care than actual patient healthcare.

Not just a one trick pony! Realized that I could accomplish multiple needs I wanted taken care of at one office

The doctor is wonderful, he has been in this area for many years. He has a physician assistant who was very condescending, and behaved as though I were a nuisance. Maybe she was having a bad day, but her behavior on this particular day was unprofessional.

I made an appointment for my wife regarding a severe rash on her hands, Psoriasis. The quickest I could get her in was a month and a half out. The paper work the office gave me to fill out had the offices card but no time for the appointment. So the day prior to the appointment I called the office to confirm the time. The day of the appt we called to say we were about 5 min late and they informed me that we would have to reschedule because we were 15 min late. WTF!!! They quoted me the wrong time and besides that there was nothing mentioning this "15 min" rule. They couldn't fit us in??!?? Needless to say, just horrible business practice.

I have been a patient of Dr. Dejarlais for several years now and I can honestly say I would not see another Dermatologist ever, even if they paid me to see another Dr. He truly is the best I have ever been to in my entire life and I am now 60 yrs old. He treats you with respect, he always makes you feel as comfortable as he possibly can even though some treatments are not always fun to have, but necessary to have done.He is honest, caring and always takes the time to answer any questions you may have. I never leave there feeling hurried or feeling like I didn't have time to ask the questions that I may have had.And another big bonus is that his office just keeps improving. He and his staff have so many options for you over and above your regular skin problems and it just keeps growing, and he does it all in his office so you are not running from place to place, and his office is conveniently located right on Main St. (M52) in Adrian.Would I recommend Dr. Dejarlais to my Family and Friends? You bet I would~

Dr. D is very good at what he does. However, some idiot called while I was on the road, DEMANDING immediate payment for a small co-pay. She was extremely rude and unprofessional. I explained how I was on the road and would take care of the bill, but she still demanded the matter be taken care of immediately. Very disappointed. The next day I called the office manager, and she then defended the rudeness of the caller. If this is how you want to thin out your patients, you are doing a good job because I will not be back.

Straight diagnostic and treatment never tries to over treat you.

If it weren't for Dr. Desjarlais and his team, I would likely not have my right leg today as a result of an injury that was not diagnosed and treated properly elsewhere. As soon as he saw me, he began immediate treatment that in my mind, saved my leg from the desease that could have ended up in major disfuguration or amputation. My disorder is lifelong and have seen him many times since that first time back in 2006. His approach is proactive regarding my condition and when my desease flares up now and again, his treatment is immediate and preventative. His team is driven by flawless patient care satisfaction in all my visits. Others in my family who suffer from our genetic condition have expressed the same high praise for the treatment they have received from Dr Desjarlais.
