Dr. Verkaik has been a very caring doctor always a tentative listener and works hard to help has called after hour to check on me as patient.

Dr. Verkaik has ALWAYS been a great listener of my medical concerns and ALWAYS seeks the best care for his patients. He ALWAYS has time to answer questions regardless of how much time it involved. Should be a lesson for all those young doctors out there treating people like numbers.

I have seen Dr. Verkaik in the past, and while his medical knowledge seems up to par, he takes advantage of the position he has over his patients and exudes immoral behavior that would make the Michigan Medical Board and LARA curious with his quid pro quo behavior. I was pleased when Spectrum finally fired him but I’m in shock that he’s still allowed to practice medicine.

He is so friendly, spends time listening and diagnosing. He has been my primary care doctor since the day he delivered me. He is now my child's pediatrician. Wonderful doctor. Only issue is he is usually late to his appointments, probably because he spends so much time with each one.
