List of Ahsen Tatar's Reviews
She listens. She hears you. I personally could not ask for anything better.
Tatar is gentle, kind, and one of the best doctors I could have had to deliver my baby. She was sweet and encouraging. I'd recommend her to everyone.
Excellent service. Dr Tatar is a very kind and professional person. I always clarify my doubts during pregnancy. The caesarean section that I perform now is almost indistinguishable. Excellent surgeon too ☺ Excelente servicio. Dr Tatar es una persona muy amable y profesional. Siempre aclaro mis dudas durante el embarazo. La cesarea que me realizo ahora casi no se distingue. Excelente cirujana tambien ☺
Dr. Tatar has been my OB for over 10 years now and she's been nothing but a blessing to my family. I refer everyone I know to her, hand's down the best OB doc ever! Only reason I don't see her for my next pregnancy is because I moved away from the area.
She was very supportive through my entire pregnancy! And did a great job keeping me comfortable and to not be afraid of a c-section
Well she almost killed my grandson after inducing my daughter. 4 days later his heartbeat almost stopped and I had to threaten to sue like my husbands niece did ( an own mind you). Needless to say 10 minutes later there was a team ready for emergency C section.....
First off let’s start with my 3rd pregnancy, I was having contraction beginning at 5am had an appointment that very day at 9:30am so I waited it out to see her. They hooked me up to check for contractions, Dr Tartar came in and said I wasn’t! I told her if these weren’t contractions I don’t know what are! She asked if I wanted her to check my cervics and I said yes. I was dilated to a 5. Dr. Tartar said I guess your having a baby today... Next almost 3 years later I am pregnant I end up going to the hospital having really bad cramps long story short I end up have a miscarriage but in the process little to no concern about my tests that were being done such as an ultrasound that I needed the results for because not know if your baby is going to make it or not, really is heart wrenching! I had to drive to the hospital to make the techs read it and there was no help at all from the staff at Dr. Tartars office actually they were really rude to me and very uncaring about the entire situation. Definitely not pleased at all with her or the receptionist there!!!!!
Never met with her for more than 5 minutes my whole pregnancy. Out right refused my C-section request. Which I ended up tearing from my V to my A like I told her I was terrified of. My first time pregnant and I looked to her for answers. Almost miscarried with a placental abruption and the ER nurse explained more than her and was more kind. Always acted like my questions were an inconvenience. Just looking back now it was all wrong. Tests were never done that should have been. Only ever had two ultrasounds. My visits legitimately consisted of me waiting for 30 to 45 minutes after my appointment was, the nurse weighing me and taking my blood pressure, then sitting another 20 minutes waiting for the doctor to come in just to use the doplar and then smile and leave. Never went through anything to do with birth, never told me anything to help with the awful pregnancy issues I was having, never even asked if I had a birth plan. I didn't even know a birth plan was a thing. I ended up being completely unprepared and really hate that I ended up being stuck with her through my insurance. Thank God I ended up having to go somewhere else to have my son. Sad that I felt more comfortable with a stranger than the doctor I'm supposed to trust. I ended up having my son early before my next appointment was set with them, and no one even called once to see if I had had him or was ok or still needed an appointment. Just let some young pregnant lady disappear and not even care. Ridiculous.
I can’t say enough good things about Dr. Tatar!! She provided the most incredible care during my two pregnancies and the birth of our babies. She is very genuine, kind, understanding, patient, and down-to-earth. She always made us feel so welcome and valued. The nursing and office staff at her clinic are also phenomenal. We had the same nurse the entire time for both pregnancies (Jessica was amazing!!), which was wonderful. I really feel like we developed a special bond with them, and was actually sad to not go in for my check ups after my children were born 😉 I would keep her as my OB for all my future pregnancies, without a doubt. If you need a good OBGYN, this is the place you want to be!
I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Dr. Tatar is a gentle-hearted, caring physician whose intelligent help and guidance I’ll be forever grateful for. She is surrounded by a kind and caring staff, a staff that politely and promptly listened and answered my questions anytime I called in during my pregnancy. Collectively they’re a wonderful team that I was grateful to have in my corner. I highly recommend having them in yours.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
