All of the residents and attendings here are wonderful! I really enjoyed taking my three kids (5, 3, and 5 months) here because of the communication, non-judgmental environment, and overall ease of medical care.
I'm only giving this place 2 stars because if you get to see the permanent doc (Dr. O'donnell) you'll get decent care, but it is rare to see her. Usually you see a rotating door of what I assume are Residents and frankly, Residents are as clueless as portrayed on medical shows. This place (technically Dr. O'donnell) has been my doctor for maybe 6-7 years now, and for at least the last 3 (which is probably about the time I started seeing less and less of Dr. O and more and more of random docs), every time I leave I find I'm walking out thinking "these are the WORST doctors ever!" and that I need to get on here and find myself a new doctor. What I find the worst about these doctors is that they all seem to take a very 'don't treat unless you have absolutely no other choice' kinda stance. It's weird. You truly have to be half way to being rushed to emergency to finally be given an antibiotic for upper respiratory issues. It's always a virus to them - always! Even if you have a well documented medical history of chronic, bacterial, bronchitis, for some reason once you get to their office it's a virus (even though they don't test for it), it's only a virus, and 'come back in a few days if it's not better'. I feel like I always have to 'come back' with this place because I'm never treated the first time. And that brings me to today's visit and why I'm awake and writing this review at 1am. Because my ear and throat hurt. Because I have an ear infection. Because the doctor told me it was probably a virus and to call her (not Dr. O, another Random) in a few days if it's not better. I'll be honest and say that I also have an upper respiratory issue right now, that I've given up on them ever treating such things and began taking my own dose of Amoxicillin, and that I fully understand this can make it harder for the doctor to diagnose other issues. But here's the deal - I was completely honest that I am self-treating for the bronchitis, I said the issue is the left side of my throat and my ear and repeatedly said it feels like an infection that is draining from my ear to my throat and that's why my throat only hurts in that one spot. The doc looked in my ear, said there's (I didn't fully understand) first redness and then later she said something about a small lump(??), but kept saying she couldn't test for strep because I took antibiotics already, to the point that I began to feel like this was my punishment - not treating my ear - rather than anything to do with my medical condition. I didn't say strep, she said strep; I said ear infection, repeatedly. And that's very likely why my throat has what feels like a line of fire going down it's left side and my ear is throbbing. It could have been treated but... these are the worst doctors ever! Oh, and one PS from today's visit that truly highlights (to me) how seemingly against giving any prescription for anything this place is: I'm a long-time smoker - pack a day. Usually I smoke even when sick. I'm a smoker ~shrug~ that's what we do. But I was SO sick on Sunday morning that when I ran out of cigs I just didn't go buy more. Then on Monday I thought I'd see if I could make it through without going to buy any, and that brings me to now, Tuesday (technically Wed) at 1:46am. As is typical the doc asked when my last cigarette was at my appt. this afternoon. When I told her my last one was two days ago, instead of saying something along the lines of 'there's lots of quit-smoking aids, would you like me to prescribe one and you could try to quit?' her response was to frown and say 'I suppose it's good that you haven't smoked for a couple days but that doesn't really help anything'. Really? Not "well why not keep it going?", not "there are endless things I can prescribe to help you", nope. Just 'you suck; stopping for a couple days isn't anything impressive; and you should think about quitting but don't expect any help from me with that because we don't believe in prescription pads here.' lol-but kinda not. They are truly the worst doctors ever!!

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
