List of Advance Urgent Care & Walk-In Clinic's Reviews
we love this place! no xray but excellent care for all other minor, urgent issues. use for my whole family for years.
It felt like a run down operation. They do not do xrays-it's broken. No one was there to do xrays each day they said. They do not do blood draws-"Your insurance won't cover it." "My insurance has no copays and you're on their Network 1 list so it will be fine." "No, they will charge you hundreds of dollars. And the person who is allowed to do blood work and covered by your insurance will be here this weekend. Would you like to come back?" "My insurance has no copays...never mind." I did at least get a referral for xray elsewhere and medication from my pharmacy that helped. The receptionist was polite. The doctor seemed fine but unsure also. But the place also smells badly of mold and mildew. I had to spray my coat when I got home and change and wash my clothes.
This place is a scam. Went in after being attacked for some emergency medical attention and they said they didnt have the equipment to look at my scratches and bruises. They refused to help at all and just sat on their cell phones. What a trashy place. It's a scam and i would avoid it even in an emergency.
While you are supposed to fill out the patients info online, their system doesn't work. It took the nurse 30 minutes to enter in my paper work before we could be seen. We were the only ones in the office. Both my boys had been exposed to strep and were symptomatic. Dr. Looked in throat and ears, listened to their chests and prescribed Amoxicillin without conducting any lab work. Seemed very cursory and my peds Dr was shocked that they prescribed meds without conducting any lab work. I have also since talked to other Dr's who view this clinic is subpar. I would recommend finding another clinic if open.
When I was pregnant and very nauseous - I was told by one of the physician's that the most natural way to get rid of it would be to smoke pot. A few years later (because it's the only urgent care near me that is open late) my husband took my son there because we were afraid something happened to his arm after a fall. They did an X-ray and determined he had broken his arm and told us to go to the ER - where they took another x-ray, had three radiologists look at it and they all confirmed there was nothing wrong. In the meantime, we had to pay 600 some dollars at the ER because of a faulty X-ray review at Advance Urgent Care. The whole place has left me actually quite horrified and angry.
Front desk receptionist was genuinely rude and condescending. I do not recommend coming here unless you are willing to wait 30 minutes for rude healthcare
Absolutely horrible! A woman named Tina was unspeakably rude to me and unprofessional. Coming here made me sicker, AND they didn't give me my insurance card back after I politely complained and was treated with no regard. This place was disgusting. Never come here!!!
Only person in the place. Took over 30 minutes to find out they didn't accept our insurance. I paid the 'discounted rate' because I suspected my son had pink eye, and our pcp couldn't get him in for 3 days. After another 30 minutes (still no one else there) I asked if there was a problem. They immediately took us back to a room but the attendant was extremely rude and dismissive. The doctor was very kind, and my son did indeed have pink eye. Left with a prescription that couldn't be filled anywhere, and when I called Kellogg Eye's pharmacy, I found out that it had been discontinued by the manufacturer a long time ago. I wish I would have gone elsewhere.
Only one person ahead of me and wait has already been an hour and doesn't seem to be moving. Desk person has been missing for 30 min don't think they have it together.
Dr. Ali is the most empathetic doctor I have ever met. He quickly addressed my illness, provided me with a diagnosis and gave me a treatment plan. He took his time with me and asked if I had any questions, not rushing the appointment whatsoever. He even gave me a hug and shared a personal story when I got emotional over being ill. I truly cannot explain what a blessing it was to end up in his care during this time of sickness. He was a light in my day and I would recommend his care to anyone.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
