C.S. Mott Children's Hospital's Online Review Report Card

I’m beyond mad. They sent me a letter in the mail stating parking ect, it did not mention anything regarding fees for parking. It did not even mention valet as an option. And when you look online to see it just tells you to call a phone number which by the way when you’re in the hospital there is absolutely no reception. I arrived late to my appointment because of this! When I got to the desk I was already 15 min late and still had to wait because they said they were behind. If it wasn’t for me being referred here for my 3 month old to have her heart checked I would never ever come here! Already struggling with money because of her other appointments and this place does not allow you to be billed you have to pay upfront let alone you really have no other option but to pay for valet which god knows how much that is. Unless you were to leave a hour and a half early to your appointment.

This is one of best hospitals you could take your child to. They are excellent. They have took really good care of my daughter since she has been here. I give a 10 out of 10. Thank you for all that you have done for her!!

I took my infant into the emergency room. The nurses, residents, and doctors were great. I signed up for text notifications for this extremely helpful visit.There is a covid protocol in place so there are minimal visitors allowed.Going to the ER with an infant can be complicated but fortunately, there is complimentary valet parking.

So, I went to see Dr. Gertrude Y. Li to get cast done for my 2 yr old, nothing fancy, simple cast.Issue: I received like thousands of bills for a cast, the charges were humungous. I received huge bills for initial analysis even though I went to urgent care first and had the initial analysis report from the doctor, then multiple bills for actual casting, xrays, reading xrays, surgeries (even though there was none) etc etc and some bills were like more than 1000$ each after insurance. I even called my insurance provider and asked that how can you approve multiple bills for the same thing but, as everybody knows its a scam. And after all this, hospital sent me a separate huge bill for facility charges as if I was admitted there.

Our little girl had tubes put in her ears today. We are blessed and amazed at the amount of love, skill and professionalism is that the staff display. The docs are great just as well.

Everyone I've dealt with has been rude and condescending. The person that checked us in this morning insulted us by asking if my caucasian fiance was my mother. I've received no updates other than the text messages but I watched white families of patients receiving constant in person updates. From 5:30 pm till 10 pm I was completely ignored than talked to condescendingly when my fiance's nurse had to be forced to call me to give an update. U of M has definitely earned their reputation of being hostile to black customers based on my experience.

This Place Saved My Life.

When I was 11 years old, I am now 22, I underwent Open Heart Surgery. One of the most scariest moments of not only my life, but my whole family as well. This hospital did the absolute best and was there for me every second I needed it. The doctors and nurses there are just unbelievable, and you guys are the reason why I am going into pediatric cardiology, so thank you ❤️

I Have Been A Patient At Mott’s Hospital For 3 Years Now And It Is Probably The Best Hospital I Have Ever Been To I Have Had 2 Brain Tumors Taken Out Here & My Surgeons Are Amazing The Staff Is Unbelievable & The Cafeteria Food Is Delicious Not To Mention 12 Public Elevators (13 Including The One Across From The Lab) This Is An Amazing Hospital & PS Whoever Did That Conjoined Twin Removal Surgery Needs A Nobel Piece Prize
