I've known Dr. Christensen for more half my life now. He's seen me at my worst, and now at my very best. Honestly even I felt like a lost cause when he first met me, but he stuck by me and pushed me when I needed pushing, and now I'm almost 15yrs clean. I know I put a lot of work into my recovery but I wouldn't have the amazing life I have now without him. Truly. He's one of the few that actually do it for the greater good of others and that makes him one of my heros.

I’m truly glad for the people who had good experiences with Dr. Christensen. ‘Mine was utterly miserable. His assistant/office manager was expert in laying a heavy guilt trip on me, for seeming to be unloyal to this office. She was a true mind twister, which is the last thing a person in pain needs. Dr. Christensen led me down a similarly twisted path. He prescribed Suboxone, which may be a big help to some people, but it was a disaster for me. Dr. Christensen’s solution; he called me at home and just said flat out that he couldn’t treat me. I could not be his patient. This was based on my adverse reaction to the medication. Is this ethical treatment by a caring professional? I truly think not. I received numerous calls from him to my home, which were unwelcome. He prescribed the Suboxone not just once. He sent in a second prescription to my pharmacy, which I never requested. They filled the prescription, Charged it to my credit card and delivered it to me! All without my knowledge, and certainly without my permission. Subsequently I received various emails with the doctor’s instructions on how to use the medication with care. The problem was that I never wanted a second prescription.These subsequent instructions did not at all have the tone of a doctor who was refusing to treat me. I was already done with Suboxone. My very adverse reaction hadn’t changed. Thank goodness we can choose our doctors, and refuse treatment we don’t want. My experience with Dr. Christensen was truly awful. I knew to back away at the right time. I wanted to share my experience in case it might save others from the misery I went through.

Dr. Christensen's passion and care has left a forever imprint on my heart and in my life. I trust this doctor completely and feel comfortable during appointments. Dr. Christensen listens intently when I am speaking, I never feel rushed and he always has the right answers to my questions. I truly believe that this doctor cares about his patients.

I've been seeing him for almost 7 years, and he is the best! I feel lucky to have found him! The only bit of advice I can give to new patients is to be totally honest, and follow his directions...and you won't be sorry! :-D

I have been seeing him for almost 7 years, and I feel very lucky to have found him. Of course, I'm one of the few types of people that want to hug the "messenger" for actually caring about me as a person. If you are really ready to take control of your life and get healthy, I would not reccommend anyone other than Dr. Christensen. I welcome his knowledge and opinions with open arms! Thank you Dr. C! :)
