Useless Doctor, he told me that haha he was the only doc I could use cause of my insurance. And he didnt wanna help me if I didnt want to go back to work! Omg! He sat and told me I was most likely born with this problem. I'm 51 years old and have been having nerve damage all those years yet after surgery he cannot understand why aft 6mths I still need physical therapy! All he did was trade my leg nerve damage for neuropathy in my feet! Then he asked me why I was using a cane still!! Really does he know anything except cutting into people and putting them down!!?? I'm in more pain than when i started! So how am i supposed to be better!? Stay away from him! I should have listened but i thought i had no choice but really i waited that long i could have waited longer! PATIENTS BEWARE! I am starting a new law suit! Oh btw he doesnt know why I have numb feet!
Horrible.. Wish i would of read his reviews first .. Took my son there because St.Marys recommended and all his one stars are exactly right .. No bedside manner doesnt really seem to care or have any suggestions... I mean who cares if you can get right in .. I would wait 2 hours to see a Good Doctor.. Thats about the only good thing about going to see this doctor...
He must be on the spectrum with some sort of social disorder. He’s all great bringing you into his care but when it comes to after care this man is profoundly inept re: his ability to treat his patients with individualized care. It seems like he has great difficulty understanding that not all patients fall into the typical or expected guidelines and/or outcomes. He is also very blunt with his opinions and certainly has no concept of treating his patients with dignity and respect. He has no regard that his patients come with feelings and emotions along with their physical spine issues. Good doctors know how to approach sensitive issues with compassion utilizing education rather than blunt critical statements. He clearly has no compassion or understanding that patients may have other issues outside the realm of his expertise. His communication is very poor hence the horrific bedside manner.
I saw Dr. Lee for an injury to my spine from a fall in 2005. I have seen neurologists from the best hospitals in Boston, Houston and Switzerland for this injury, which is well documented. Dr. Lee told me that they were all wrong after looking at my mri for 30 seconds. He told me that pain and numbness are subjective, that I was not a candidate for surgery and that I should use a walker.
Dr Lee is very upfront with your condition and explains your situation and your procedure to you and what he will do to help you and also what you as a patient must do before and after your surgery so your healing and recovery process is timely and done with proper care with your medical care and physical therapy after surgery Dr Lee always answers his calls and returns his call in a timely manner we DEFINITELY RECOMMEND Dr Lee !!!
This Doctor should not even have a license to practice!!! He is a liar and a fraud!!! He might as well be employed by the insurance company. He literally did a 5 minute exam which mostly involved just asking questions then gave a fraudulent report back to the insurance company stating there was absolutely nothing wrong with me!!! If I could give a negative, I would. What a P.O.S. I don't know how this guy sleeps at night!!!
I started having back problems and the use of my legs 15 years ago. I have been seen by doctors at U of M and the Detroit Medical Center. I have lost the use of my legs. I can no longer walk and use a scooter. I saw Doctor Lee and he spent over an hour with me discussing my symptoms. He sent me for an MRI and saw me the very next morning which was a Friday. He knew I didn't need a spine doctor but knew that I needed to see a neurologist. He called the Neurologist he wanted me to see and got me an appointment the next Monday. Come to find out I have a lesion growing on my spinal cord that all the other doctors never saw. It is what is causing my loss of use of my legs. I am currently working with the neurologist to decide what to do. I am so happy I found Doctor Lee and highly recommend him.
Beware, if you go see this guy, I would say "doctor" but I've seen many doctors in my life, and S. Lee is very shady, .. my employer set me up go to see him for a second opinion , That evaluation was less than 5 minutes, No X-ray ,did not look at the paper work i had for him, & the evaluation was in a regular Room with carpet on the floor, no Medical equipment in the Room just a couple of tables and some chairs & a coat rack, also no paper no plastic gloves , that's unsanitary, At the end of the 5 minute evaluation he said I was perfectly fine nothing wrong,.. "BEWARE" of this guy ,"Stanley Lee," . That being said I knew it was all a bunch of BS .. he gives his paid$ opinion.. My the 3rd opinion went in my favor, cus i seen some great Real Doctors with there Honest evaluation..
I seen him at garden city hospital. I could hear him talking with the patient before me. He did not have a receptionist. He took my info and gave me one sheet of paper. Told me I was just fat and there was nothing wrong with me. This all by me walking three feet and zero physical exam. He brought up a almost three year mri and said if I haven’t been in a car accident I should not have any pain. Apparently the doctors I seen before did not know anything. Did not recommend xrays or any other type of help at all. Waste of time and money!
He was EXTREMELY thorough. Always replies to calls and text messages.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
