Urgent care was wonderful and the wait was a little long but well worth the visit as everyone was gracious and helpful to me. ST. joes hospital was amazing. The staff were completely compassionate and caring and made me feel very much at ease a When I was feeling terrible from my enflamed appendix. They took wonderful care of me and I cannot say enough. Thank you much.

Right onto Michigan Avenue. They did an excellent job extremely fast very efficient very polite from beginning to finish.

Quick and very clean

This is a tough one to write, and I'm close to giving 3 stars but I'm like a month or two out and my blood still boils from this a bit. The good: When I was there and interacting with people, everyone was very nice. Nurses were nice, the PA I saw was nice, and when I called 40 times the woman I spoke to 90% of the time was always trying to get someone to talk to me. I appreciate all those people, I understand that the hours and the job itself have to be freaking exhausting so I appreciate the extra effort added to be nice. The bad: Went in with kidney pain eventually on both sides, and had never had this happen to me before. Ended up being a kidney infection which I would put into a fairly serious situation. I went in on a Monday, didn't get a prescription until Friday... Luckily it seemed like what they gave me there helped a little bit initially, but the prescription I ended up getting also didn't work for the bacteria I had. So in 5 days they couldn't even get me the right prescription and and doctor or PA had spoken to me zero times, not even a call and left message. I NEVER talked to a PA or a doctor again through this whole process even when I eventually went into the office. The poor woman at reception had to tell me what the diagnosis was when I was already way past losing my mind that nobody would talk to me. I was unemployed and uninsured at the time and I got to talk to a PA 1 time for $600 (not including what I paid in prescriptions). If that receptionist is going for her medical degree, just give her the damn paper already because she gave me the most medical information I had the entire time I was there. I'll be done complaining but please do better in the future. I already have such an intolerance to going to see a doctor in general as a dumb male that thinks he can take on the world, this just makes that even worse. Just to reiterate again, anybody I interacted with that was on the wrong side of a lot of my (sick) frustration I really appreciate you and I hope IHA treats you all well. I hope the best for all of you!

For several years, this location has been my go-to for urgent care even though there are other closer options. Consistent excellent care from the staff and providers here- friendly, professional, and diagnosis and treatment are always spot-on. Well equipped too, with imaging and lab on site.

I went in on a Saturday morning. 45 minutes in and out. The staff were friendly. The service was excellent and quick. They also have an online appointment scheduling portal also.

Whoever was working 9/3/26 around 8:30pm as an MA or whatever she was (she brought me back to the room and took vitals) was extremely rude and unprofessional from start to finish. I get she may have had a rough day but she should not take that out on patients and come with that hostility and attitude. this seems like a good place but she definitely made me uncomfortable. when i told her the reason why i was coming in, she said “that’s it” and rolled her eyes. not to mention she didn’t introduce herself at all

Did not have to wait long to be seen. Everything proceeded without a hitch. Very satisfied with overall experience. Rxs promptly filled by CVS, symptoms progressively lessening in severity.

Kind staff from the check in to the NP whom I saw for my situation; I will use them again. Very professional.
