University Health Service, University Of Michigan's Online Review Report Card

I only ever hear bad things about UHS, yet I've only had positive experiences here. First, scheduling has always been a breeze. I've always gotten in same or next day. In the same vein, having access to specialists and lab facilities in the same building is great. I have, multiple times, seen a doctor (or PA or NP - all helpful!), had them request lab results or an x-ray, and gone upstairs and had everything done right away. Most all results have come back within 24 hrs. Second, I've only had great experiences with the medical staff. All have been extremely kind, knowledgeable, and thorough. Every test or question asked has a clear purpose, and my well being always feels paramount. I'll always defend UHS from the haters

Not sure why the bad reviews on Michigan UHS. People always looking for something to complain about. I recently moved to Ann Arbor for school and came in here to establish care. The folks were kind, the service was professional and timely, and the doctor was very attentive and thorough. Thank you to Michigan UHS for being there when students need you.

Very disappointed with this experience. My girlfriend had a reservation with a doctor, but we waited for around 30 minutes with no explanation. What made us even more uncomfortable was that instead of the main doctor, other students or trainees seemed to be checking her without properly explaining the situation to us. We felt confused and not treated respectfully during the visit. I understand this may be a teaching hospital, but patients should still be clearly informed and treated professionally.

I love UHS! Joanie at the front desk was so sweet and helpful, and every doctor I've see has been wonderful. UHS has such a comprehensive set of doctors all under one roof, which is super helpful for busy students trying to get everything done at the same place (e.g. GPs, eye doctors, radiology, physical therapy, dermatology, nutritionists, an on-site laboratory, and more). The office is also great about answering the phone and scheduling, and I was always able to get appointments within a week when I needed them. The online portal is super helpful as well.

Carlina-Lyn was SO HELPFUL and made sure I was aware that I needed to send in additional forms to ensure my paperwork got through. She promised she would call me after they were completed and sent out (and she did!) and was so sweet the whole process. Thank you for being you!

This place and the people were super nice and welcoming! Definitely deserves a five start rating.

Have been visiting this place since 2020. So far dient have any issue with the facility. They try to help us in the best way possible. The only con is they are closed on weekends. Even a short working hours on weekends would be nice.

Horrible service and extremely high up code and copay on purpose they have an army of people for that

I don’t know why this place has such low reviews, I’ve been twice and it was alright. The staff are typically awesome and I’ve never felt ignored or rushed at all. I think if you’re *actually* sick, you’ll be taken good care of here.
