IDK Been to the ER and the eye clinic Eyes were fine until they gave me these eye drops Apparently they don’t see the issue Google: Severe eye redness is a documented, significant side effect of this specific medication, and it frequently requires immediate evaluation by your eye doctor or ophthalmologist to ensure your eye pressure remains safely controlled.Why This HappensSevere eye redness from 0.2% brimonidine drops is usually triggered by one of three common causes:Delayed Allergic Hypersensitivity: This is a very common reaction to brimonidine that can develop weeks or even many months after you safely start using the drops. It often presents as severe redness, swollen or bumpy tissue inside the eyelids, and sometimes a gritty or crusty sensation.Ocular Hyperemia (Irritation): Up to 30% of patients experience direct eye irritation, burning, or redness as a localized reaction to the active drug or its preservatives.Vasodilation Effects: While lower doses are sometimes used to constrict blood vessels, the stronger 0.2% prescription strength can cause localized vessel changes that manifest as significant redness and inflammation over time.Critical Action StepsContact Your Eye Doctor Immediately: Call the ophthalmologist or optometrist who prescribed this medication. Relatively happy with care through the AA VA. There have been bad experiences, with some providers, however, they are mostly totally professional and competent.

I get all my care at VA A2. I find the quality of care is excellent and service and commitment of the clinicians and all the staff is exceptional. I appreciate the dedication of the staff, many of which are veterans, and the physicians, NP's, PA's and other clinicians. They all have options that offer better pay but I believe their dedication to the mission and and veterans population keeps them serving. Thank you for what you do A2 VAMC!

Scheduled and confirmed appointments are not even in the system when arrived even when received notice via text message, email, and patient portal. Cafeteria closes at 2pm, and very limited options. ER is great, no wait. Even when confirmed xray walk in same week but when arrived they say the order expired. Surgeons lie to patients and causes permanent face scarring even when the surgical procedure was chosen because of no scarring. Then surgeon will dismiss all patient's concerns and complaints. Most interactions with a provider is a battle, very demotivating causing patients to avoid care. Have had some good experiences but they are few and far between.

What is goin on here. I’ve had appointments cancelled on me without letting me know and I call back no one answers or I can’t see anyone. Is this how you treat veterans here? Someone needs to look into what’s going on here. As a veteran that needs help this is unacceptable.

Once you get past the filthy, unsanitary entrance from the parking garage, the worn out and grungy carpet, the place is great.
