I’d give him a much lower rating if possible. He has taken away my quality of life. My toes are cross-crossed, I am in excruciating pain daily. I am unsteady on my feet due to pain which now radiates up through my legs and back. Think twice before you choose and then re-think it again.

Dr. Boruta was recommended by another Surgeon; he did not disappoint me. He performed to the recommendations from the initial visit until release from PT. Dr. Boruta is in the top percentile of ankle surgeons

He did surgery on my foot and did an excellent job.

Dr. Boruta performed a bunionectomy on my left foot first. As the weeks went on, I questioned the fact that my toe was bent downward. He played it off as if nothing was wrong. He had me taping my toes together to pull the deformed toe forward. He convinced me things would get better. After all of my follow up vists , he basically said this is as good as it gets. It's been over three years and my third toe completely crosses over my second toe and is raised up and rubs on my shoes constantly. The screws are so close to the surface of my skin that when the top of my foot it touched, the pain is unbearable. I am still paying a $2,000 bill from the hospital and could not get an attorney to take my case - since one orthopedic surgeon would not testify against Dr. Boruta. They seem to have a code of silence not to do this. I live with pain on a daily basis and it affects my life dramatically.

Ruined my life. Foot turned out from broken tendon. Reconstructed bones & nails, and then foot turned OUT and can never be fixed.

Dr. Boruto always took time to explain every procedure I would be having and what to expect after surgery. He listened to any concerns I might have and took time to answer them. When there was an unforeseen problem he saw me immediately. If anyone is in need of surgery, I would wholeheartedly recommend Dr. Boruta.

Always have to wait a very long time to be seen, even when there appear to not be a lot of patients around.

Dr. Boruta is nice and professional, but his staff leaves much to be desired. My wife went in to drop off some paperwork and was ignored and then berated for something that she had no business knowing. Gloria, who phoned me, was completely rude and would not even let me explain my situation before speaking to me in a completely condescending manner and berating me for failing to make an appointment(which was never completely explained to me). I don't understand why they cannot treat you as a customer with courtesy and respect. I did not raise my voice once and she was completely wrong on several accounts. I don't know why both staff members were irrational, over-emotional, and completely unprofessional. I would never recommend Dr. Boruta because of his staff.
