From the moment I called we had friendly, courteous, and professional service. My dad had a cancerous growth removed 3 weeks ago and than had a major skin change. The staff was able to get my dad in, and we were able to get in early for our appointment. The doctor spoke loud and close to my dad because he is hard of hearing so my dad was able to discuss his concerns. Great visit and so thankful for the attention they should my dad.
I was referred to Pinnacle Dermatology for my son by our family doctor. We showed up as we were supposed to, had masks on, etc.Apparently there is a policy regarding if a patients temperature is above 100 degrees, then the appointment is canceled. This was not communicated until we were at the appointment.I understand and support the office taking measures during covid. What I do not appreciate is a very brusque nurse taking a temperature and exclaiming "NOPE" and then shoving a form in my face about the policy.A better way to handle it would be to explain how there is a telemedicine option and offering to set up a a telemedicine appointment.I had to beg to have a telemedicine appointment. Telemedicine option certainly was not offered willing by the staff.Secretary didn't even want to write down the information about the telemedicine appointment.Definitely not a solution based approach focused on caring and compassion in my experience.I expect better from trained professionals. I definitely would not recommend this office to anyone.
