Very poor bedside manner. My husband was going into surgery, his BP was up when usually normal. He had some nerves but BP went down. Talked down to by his wife which was the anesthesiologist. Dr Gupta the surgeon (her husband) spoke of the importance of not smoking. I explained he's trying hard and asked if he had recommendations. He said, "No, just quit." I said it's really a monkey on his back, my step-father died of emphysema and my father has it now. Dr. Gupta said "and I'm sure your husband has it too! "He has ZERO prior knowledge to make an assessment like that! Especially right before he was being wheeled back to be put under and already had nerves. We expect drs to give the best medical advice but this out of the realm.

I love this Doctor. He has awesome bedside manners. Hes very polite and caring. He took care of me and performed surgery on me and when he opened me up he discovered that I had far more things wrong with me in which he fixed while he was working on me. I could never thank him enough for keeping me alive when I was knocking on deaths door. Awesome Surgeon.
