Worst hospital around. You’re better off driving a bit further and going to Marshall instead.
Older lady doing nurse triage at the desk is a c-unit. Told her it hurts to breathe and she just went “okay heres a mask have a seat” been waiting 2.5 hours now for care. What a joke this place is.

This place only gets 2 stars because it is very clean (way to go cleaning staff!) However, i could only barely bring myself to give it that. The reception staff are all rude and pushy, and half of them don't know what they're doing. We don't live in battle creek, this is our first time here, and they tossed us around from one end of the building to another for an hour. Now my mother is late for a CANCER screening biopsy. What ever happened to hospital staff taking people where they need to be in hospitals? Now the patient needs to memorize the maps of places they've never been just to make the staffs jobs easier. This is a horrible place.
Been here to the E.R. a few times with loved ones and vow to never return, even if my life actually depends on it. Rudest, laziest, most incompetent staff I've ever seen in any hospital.
Worst hospital ever after years and years of going their I'm finally fed up with there nonsense go here if you wanna die they just make you wait in the lobby even if your eye hanging out many times I left their to go to Marshall and kalmazoo. They always say your priority and don't ever make you feel like it definitely don't recommend these mfs to anyone they will give your room up in a heart beat if your pregnant too!
I have had 4 family members die at this hospital due to complications after surgery. DO NOT bring family here if you want them to live. This hospital is horrible and do not properly care for their patients.
The entire staff was friendly, helpful and respectful. They are short staffed like everyone else but they all still took time to listen to my questions and concerns. Medicine to go home wasn’t enough to make it to the doctor a few days later and it was over a weekend so I ran out but I blame that on the doctor. I thought the doctors were not as willing to explain as much as the nurses. I couldn’t eat while I was there so I can’t comment on the food. Everything was very clean.
They were life savers for me. We normally go to oaklawn because we live near by. But oaklawn REFUSED to take my sick baby seriously at all. I took him here and he was treated with compassion and understanding. The doctors were amazing, the nurses were amazing. My poor baby ended up testing positive for salmonella. Now I didn't appreciate them calling the cops on me for not picking up his meds when I had no idea they even called any in. No one called me, I got the results after a police officer came to my house and told me to contact them. It had not occurred to me that they didn't have my number. I was more panicked about my baby to even remember if they had asked me. But that didn't need to happen. Otherwise my son got the care he needed that he was denied by oaklawn. Clean hospital overall, well maintained and not dated like oaklawn. I'll come back as long as I'm not treated like a child abuser over stuff I was not aware of. Older woman in triage was such a lovely caring person.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
