Awesome ! She treated me with respect and great care.

The doctor seemed at first ready to proceed with my treatment for stage 4 breast cancer, MBC. Very talkative, and gave out so many ideas so quickly, it was hard to keep up. I had been to the cancer center with Dr. Herman for my first diagnosis and everything went really smoothly in 2011. Not this time. Rarely did I have a call returned, mess ups on my prescription, MRI was turned down, not a day went by without something happening. I did all of my own appointments for pulmonology, and every scan, and every test except bloodwork. It was just a very disappointing experience and I am relieved to have changed my care to an excellent place that actually answers questions and carries through. If you have metastatic breast cancer I think a doctor who specializes just in that area is the way to proceed. I was sadly disappointed with my experience here.

My father has been under this Dr's care for a year and it has been horrible. She is late for 100% of his appointments and when she gets there she is unfamiliar with his case and spends 20 minutes reading through his file to get caught up. She does not communicate the reasons behind what she does. My dad was turning yellow with jaundice and she didnt even notice, the nurse did. When he was in the emergency room, she was hard to get in touch with and when we did get ahold of her she offered no assistance. In the process of switching Dr's now. I wish he would have did it a year ago.

I was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2011. Dr. Chemarthy was caring, offered treatment options, & never rushed through appointments. I have been cancer free for 7 years. I am so grateful to her.

Very poor treatment of my father. Would not recommend her as oncologist

Dr. Chamarthy treated my father 4 years ago for cancer. Her care for him was very unsatisfactory. She was not engaged in his care. When the 5 of us siblings came to her office with Dad to discuss his case and ongoing treatment - all she could do was randomly and absent mindedly flip through pages of his file - it was painfully obvious that she was not at all familiar with him, his disease or his treatment-like she had already given up on his life.

Dr treated my father for lung cancer 4 years ago. She took a 4 week trip to her homeland during his 6 months of care. When she returned and sat down to review Dad's case with us 5 children - she was not at all prepared or familiar with his case or care. It was like she had already given up on his care and his prospects for survival - all she could do was silently and absent mindedly flip through the pages in his file. Very sad and unprofessional. I would not recommend her for oncology care for lung cancer treatment.

I have ITP. Excellent bedside manner. Answered all questions and gave clear program of attack of disease. Very please with her honesty and knowledge of my needs.
