Doctor Phil has been taking care of our entire family for over 30+ years. He is one of the most caring persons you will ever meet. A Christian man with deep convictions and a desire to help when ever possible. We consider him part of our family. We have never been denied service, always finds room in his busy schedule when we need him. His office staff is one of the best, have known Pauline, Jenny and Dodie for years. Great people. Phillip was my family's doctor for 25 years. We recently moved to Savannah GA and had to find a new doctor. I do not think we will ever find a doctor as wonderful as Phillip. He takes a real interest in your overall health (mental as well as physical) and has a practical approach to medicine. He was great and we will miss using him as our family doctor. If you live in the Grand Rapids MI area...you would be crazy not to use him.

Dr Gaca's office and his staff are great! They have always been very accommodating, informative and helpful. If we are in hurry and need something right away, they usually fit us in same-day!. Very good, old-school, common sense doctor and staff. Highly recommended!

AMAZINGLY KIND and CARING! I have seen Dr. Gaca since moving back to Michigan in 2012, He takes his time to listen and hear what the patients needs are. Dr. Gaca has always been understanding and proactive in his treatment and not let outside influences distract his ability to treat his patients. The staff there has always been friendly and professional and Kind, I leave feeling like family as they all seem to genuinely care about the people they help.

Dr. Gaca has provided me with information on my health issues. He has taken the time to find out resolutions to my diagnosis. He follows through with ideas to my health care plan. He has taken the time to return my calls when I needed explanations. He has never rushed me when I have an appointment with him. Patients come first in Dr. Gaca's practice of medicine.

I have been a patient of Dr. Phil since he graduated from MSU's medical school and first opened his medical practice. From the start of our physician-patient relationship, Dr. Gaca has gone above and beyond to help me maintain a healthy life style. As I have aged, Dr. Phil has been there to see me through the difficult times with good information and treatments that work for me. If I have a medical issue or medical question, Dr. Gaca responds within a few hours. Dr. Gaca has a real-world sense of humor when it comes to medical advice. I like that he is able to take complex medical concepts and winnow them down into layman's terms of comprehension. Dr. Gaca demonstrates compassion when needed and solid advice during the challenging moments when I really don't need things to be sugar coated. The very fact and he has retained his staff for decades speaks to his professional approach to medicine. He has practiced medicine long enough to have developed a wide array of competent specialists for referral when medical issues dictate that a specialist is required. Dr. Gaca is great!! His office staff is great. Liz at the check-out window is fantastic and always has a smile on her face and always tells the patient's to have a great day!! Lisa at the check-in window is extremely rude and I sometimes overhear her talk crap about patients.
