Nishit Choksi's Online Review Report Card

Waited over an hour and a half to see this Doctor at his Rochester office. The waiting room only had a couple of people waiting to see him. He spent about 5 minutes with me. I mentioned that my cardiac issue may have been caused by my gastro issues. He proceeded to call my Gasternoligist. He spent more time trying to contact my gastrointestinal doctor than with me during that five minutes. Then he said I probably don't have a cardiac issue and ordered some tests. I spent most of my office time with a person who I gave my history to than him. I realize doctor's have scheduling problems at times. During these times staff needs to inform patients about these delays in case a patient has to reschedule. I believe this will put patient more at ease.

Dr. Choksi should be the ambassador of all doctors. If only they could all be like him.His knowledge, intelligence, people skills, kindness and capacity for giving is unsurpassed.While caring for my father numerous times in the hospital Dr. Choksi was attentive in everyway. Every follow up appointment and attention to tests reviews were without flaw.God bless Dr. Choksi.

Dr. Choksi was my mother's cardiologist for over 15 years. I know it is due to his care that allowed her to live to be 96 years old. He sincerely cared for her and she for him. Thank you Dr. Choksi.

Our contact with Dr. Choksi began over 15 years ago when my husband needed cardiac attention. His assessment of my husband's health was swift, accurate, humane, and 100 percent covered. A cath was done, a cardiac specialist/surgeon was called into the cath lab and from there health was restored thanks to the prompt care and knowledge of Dr. Choksi. He should have 5+ stars by his name from all of his patients: time is spent with each patient, you are treated as though you were a member of his family and you come away from an exam/appointment with total confidence in this man. We are so fortunate that he has returned to Michigan and is helping many deserving patients. Thank you, Dr. Choksi for all that you do: for patients, the community, family and the soul. Judith A. This guy is amazingly competent and empathic. I’m so impressed by his way to handle things. Thanks Dr. Choksi! You bring light and love into an environment where most of the staff handle tasks, not patients. You made me feel like a person. Your are a heart-doctor with Heart.

His bedside manner is wonderful. He calmed my 85 year old mother's fears and gave us confidence and hope that she was in good hands...which means so much.

My overall experience with the Doctor was poor. His staff made several mistakes in follow up and he ordered tests for me that were not needed. Gave me meds that were not needed. One test he ordered was for a coronary cat scan and did not advise me of the proper meds to take before test. When I spoke with him he wouldn't even take responsability for them. Overall I would say find a different doctor. I did.

I have been a patient of Dr. Choksi since 1995. I rate him top drawer in diagnosis, procedure and follow up. Been great with my family with an excellent bedside manner.Does volunteer work in his home country.
