Sushila Rao Md's Online Review Report Card

They schedule way to many appointments at the same time. Plan on waiting at least and hour and a half for your after your scheduled appointment time to see anyone. I have never had to wait as long at the dr as I have going here. I am definitely looking for another Dr for my daughter, even if I have to drive awhile. It’s worth not wasting a whole day waiting to see the dr.

Wouldn’t trust our babies with anyone else! Yes, you will have a wait to see her. She is everyone’s favorite so she is by far the busiest pediatrician in BR. She’s seen my husband and I since we were babies and cares for our babies like they’re her own. Not to mention how much we LOVE her long time staff that also takes such good care of us. At first she did well but now as my son's problems become more difficult she seems to be careless.she said he has seziure type.activities due to developmental delays.i looked it up and no such thing 🤷 I'll be getting a new dr for my son

I have never met a doctor that accused me of hiding something on my first appointment, then subsequently forgets to call in my babies thrush meds. Then I get letters in the mail saying my 2 boys have been dropped and they wont tell me why. My son is 12 month with special needs and a shunt. I had to call around and find a new pediatrician asap because his vaccines are due. All they would tell me is that the doctor didn't think the patient relationship would work? I saw this woman 2x, the first time she was incredibly rude with no bedside manner. The 2nd time she forgot to call in his meds then dropped us and patients. I suggest if you have more than your ur average healthy child you go elsewhere. The letter states that I had missed appointments upon calling that wasn't true. She only wants easy patients. The fact that she decided to drop special needs baby, speaks volumes to her competency. Both times saw her she was rude regarding what my son can do and didnt even treat us like he's human. Very rude.

I've taken my children to her for some time now. She is so amazing with them she listens to my concerns and encourage questions. Spectrum tried to convince us to use a different doc when our lil girl was born because she doesn't conform to what they want but I said no way!!!

Dr roa has been my childs dr for 11 years. She is very personable and amazing!

Dr. Rao has seen me for most of my life, and I can’t say enough for level of compassion and love that she puts in to what she does. You will not find a better doctor anywhere.

This place is terrible to take your children too. I had been taking my daughter there until one day I brought her in with a fever that I couldn't control for nothing and they had told me it's just a common cold, they sent me home later that night she continued with the fever and crying so I brought her in to the ER come to find out she had a urinary tract infection at 7 months old and we spent 3 days in the hospital over it. Needless to say I switched doctors offices bcuz this place is a joke. They dont look into anything they base it off of their physical appearence. Many of my friends have switched do to similar reasons. NOT A GOOD PLACE. This place is terrible to take your children too. I'm 18 and have been going to dr. Rao since I was born. I have never had an experience similar to the other review on google of this office, instead I've always felt very thouroughly cared for by my nurses and doctors.
