Robert Grimshaw's Online Review Report Card

I've had Dr Grimshaw for quite awhile. He listens to what I tell him what's going on and what problems I'm having with my body. I've had my son go to him also because it's hard to find a doctor who will listen to what the problem is and then try and help.

Staff is very nice, easy to deal with, flexible with scheduling and last minute appointments. Dr. Grimshaw is thorough, knowledgeable and always makes you feel like you are his only patient. He listens to what you are saying before making a diagnosis. My family and I trust him and plan on staying with him for many years!

My experience with Dr.Grimshaw a few years back was quite awful. He had told me that “it’s all in the head” referring to my chronic body pain and the migraines and then had the audacity to recommend therapy. If I would have stayed with him, I would probably be dead right now.Staff is very nice and works well with scheduling :)

I have been a patient of Dr Grimshaw for several years. I am very satisfied with his care. He listens carefully, asks pertinent questions, orders tests and referrals whenever necessary. I never feel rushed when I am in his office. Dr. Grimshaw seems extremely knowledgeable and has excellent rapport with his patients.

Great doctor

Dr. Grimshaw is the best. He is personable, kind, knowledgeable and trustworthy. He takes his time to listen and understand. He does a great job explaining the how’s and why’s. He never makes you feel as though he’s in a rush.

I have been a patient of Dr Grimshaw for years. He is a great doctor. He is very caring and always gives me enough time. You never have to wait in his office.

I have been seeing Dr. Grimshaw since 2010, right after I moved to Michigan. I started seeing him in Vassar and followed him to Birch Run. He is a great Dr. He isn't afraid to scold you when you don't follow your treatment. But at the same time, you know he cares.

Absolutely disgusted with this office.I have had multiple issues with this office and Dr Grimshaw including my 15 month old daughter running a fever, being told she doesn't have strep even though I told them she was exposed to it (dr Grimshaw didn't swab her throat he just glanced at it for a half a second and said it wasn't red and she'd be fine), being pressured into letting them give her a vaccine with a fever even though I requested to come back in a week or two when she was well, and this caused her to have an adverse reaction to the vaccine, spike a fever of almost 106, take a trip to the ER , where they DIAGNOSED HER WITH STREP! Things that could have been avoided if they would have listened to their patients mother!And currently my husband has been sick with the flu for 6 days. I called their office on Saturday to try and get advice from the on call doc where we should go because urgent care doesn't swab for the flu but we didn't want to go to the er. The woman who took the call was rude, cut me off, and said she would have the doctor call and no one ever did. My husband ended up going to urgent care and the doc told him if he wasn't any better to follow up with his pcp in a few days. Fast forward to today and he is still sick. I called Grimshaws office this morning before 9 to see if it was possible to get him in today or tomorrow morning because he has still been running a fever. The front desk said they were booked but that she would talk to the doctor and then call back with instructions ... which of course, no one has called back!I think most (not all) the front desk people are rude, and from our families experience Dr Grimshaw is not an advocate for his patients health. If you want an office where you feel like your doctor listens to you and is competent to treat your condition or the condition of your family ... I implore you to look elsewhere!!!!!!

My mother recently moved in with me, I needed a list of the medications so I knew what she was missing. This was our second call first time they just didn't bother to return our call at all. This time they refused to bother with it and transferred me to their voicemail. Was forced to find a new doctor. Wouldn't recommend them at all
