Lyle Grant's Online Review Report Card

Been going to Dr. Grant for the past four years. He has an "Executive" practice, which is a sort of concierge style. A small fee beyond what I pay for health insurance, and I get in with same-day appointments, extended face time with the doctor, and no wait to be seen. Definitely knows his medicine, how to listen, and find the most conservative approach to rendering a treatment plan. Highly recommend him !

He refused to see me and left me dehydrated and blind.

Dr Grant was extremely interested with my problem. He was very easy to speak with and very professional. He was able to make a correct diagnosis of my problem that two other doctors was unable to do so. Dr Grant then treated and cured my problem.I would highly recommend him to anyone who is looking for an outstanding physician

I have been going to Dr. Grant for nearly two years, and have been very happy with his service. He always gets me into and out of the office with almost no wait (and sometimes with absolutely no wait), is very personable and friendly, and is willing to see me at a moment's notice. Dr. Grant has been a life saver for me, as I sometimes neglect to plan my appointments ahead of time, and have sometimes had to schedule appointments one day in advance, or even the same day (I know, I suck). Dr. Grant has always bent over backwards to get me in, out, and on my way. I have been getting better with my "appointment management", but any other doctor I've gone to would have had me waiting days between running out of my prescription and getting in for a refill. None of this even touches how helpful and responsive he was when I somehow got into poison ivy in the middle of the winter and almost landed myself in the hospital, but that's a story for another day.

After going to several doctors, Dr Scott Grant was the first physician who was able to solve and treat my physical problems. He is brilliant and an extremely caring doctor. I can't say enough good things about his knowledge and his truly caring about his patient.

This guy is a piece of work. In my opinion, unethical. He will aggessively try to sell you on concierge service for $400-$500 a year for service he should already be providing. He answers his cell phone only for those that pay the money. His office is disorganized and will mess up appointments and try to charge you for it. And, refuse to give you your patient records. Also, when labs showed abnormalities - he did not contact the patient as required to inform. Run the other Way

**I HIGHLY RECOMMEND** I decided to leave my former doctor in Troy after 20 years, the waits had become too long and service impersonal. I didn't think I would be able to find a practice that really paid attention, that is until I went to Birmingham Medical (Dr. Grant). He spent nearly an hour with me going over my entire medical history and reviewed my current health issues extensively. I had an appointment within two days of calling, and I didn't wait more then 10 minutes to actually be seen!! The office was very clean, well organized, and it had a calming atmosphere. Later, when I forgot something he mentioned about my medications and called the office, he came to the phone within a few minutes!! I love this practice. Dr. Grant CARES. He treats you like you are his family, not just another "number" in a long line of patients to be seen during a busy day. I can't believe there are still doctors around anymore like him.

I had been having poor experiences with those in the medical profession, then I want to see Dr. Grant, he listened to all my issues without interrupting me or rushing me. I had some issues that had been going on for years, Dr. Grant was able to really help me. I thought the issues I had were never going to get better, but now I am free of them, feel like myself again! I highly recommend Dr. Grant 100%!

Dr L Scott grant is an excellent doctor---he is brillant and found my problem that several other physicians failed to doagnois. Dr Grant really cared about me and do not treat me like a file an spent an extraprdinary amount of time with me

I am comfortable speaking to most people about things in general except for personal matters, when I become very shy. Dr. Grant has a way of making me feel incredibly at ease!! It is more like talking to a good close friend. Nonjudgmental, caring, informative, knowledgeable are just a few adjectives that come to mind. He knows the answers to most of my questions, but on the rare occasion he is unsure, will research it out and get back to me. I have my husband and kids see him whenever something comes up. He is wonderful about coming back to the office after hours and even once came in over the weekend. I would recommend him to anyone that wants a true "old-fashioned" family doctor with 21st century medical knowledge!!
