I have been coming to DMC for my knee for a few months. I have had many sports related injuries throughout my life and have seen several different PTs. I can say that hands down, this facility is the best I have been to. Disha has been so amazing to me. Stephanie is great too!

I have had numerous surgeries over the last 20 years and have gone for PT to many facilities across Oakland County, and have to say the Rehabilitation Institute of Michigan, specifically, the Birmingham location, in the Power House Gym, far outweighs other PT facilities. Hands down the best! They have Up-to-date equipment and I also love that the facility is inside of the Power House Gym, and all the equipment is at their diposal, compared to other facilities that are much smaller and cannot fit any much equipment. Disha Chablani, whom I just cannot speak highly enough about, was my therapist for both my knee replacements. It was a tough recovery, and she pushed and challenged me, and it was hard at times. She took the time to speak with my doctor and nurses on several occasions, when she had questions just to "make sure" , and when PT was getting tough for me. I definitely would not have gained the flexibility and strength I have without her. I was also so grateful for Stephanie. She was so amazing and a knowledgeable physical therapist, as well. The two of them made a great team during the 4 months I was working with them. I am back in PT now, 3 years later, for another issue, and once again, working with Disha. All the equipment is new, as well as a great new therapist that has joined their team- Jason Roberts. You can't go wrong with any of them. They are all so caring, knowledgeable, friendly, and I actually look forward to going each day. All of them really work hard to make sure are 💯 better before your are discharged. I forgot to mention they are always on time for my app, and there is covered parking under the building with an elevator just a few feet away from the parking spaces.

I have been working with Disha for 2 months, getting ready for spine surgery. She has helped me a great deal! Core strength is up, balance and flexibility are improved, and the pain relief is fantastic. Disha is a tough taskmaster, but the results are worth the hard work. If you need PT or rehab, I highly recommend Disha and the Rehab Institute of Michigan in Birmingham.

Disha is an amazing physical therapist. She uses a scholarly and practical approach, does additional research as needed, and explains the science behind her techniques. She completely alleviated my neck and shoulder pain. She is the most caring and skilled PT I have ever worked with!

I have had several rounds of physical therapy throughout my life. This place, hands-down, has been the best. Disha, Jason, and Stephanie are all extremely talented, physical therapists, and show a genuine desire to help rehabilitate people. I’ve had, by far, the best response to physical therapy at this place compared to any of the others. My back issue is 50 times better and I learned a great deal about the proper way to exercise. I want to personally thank all of you for your commitment to excellence.
