Would give 10 stars if I could! LOVE, LOVE, LOVE these doctors! I'm VERY choosy about which doctors I go to, especially for my eyes! I'm usually afraid of male doctors, & my husband doesn't like going to many doctor not close, but will drive far for this office! My whole family goes here! May be there a few hours, but you're being taken care of the whole time. Very thorough and caring! I'd rather it takes longer - especially when it comes to my eyesight, than go somewhere quick & they just want to get you in and out! My husband & sister love these doctors. Recommended them to my boss for his diabetic mother who had diabetic eye issues, & was almost blind. She wouldn't go back to the doctor she had because he caused her pain. She was very happy with Dr. Burman & he helped her eyesight to start being restored. We go to Dr. Zuckerbrod in W. Bloomfield, but have gone to their other 2 offices. Their office staff are exceptional, also, and all are patient & kind. If only all male doctors were like these!

Update My experience was wonderful, i felt like I was in the hands of a great team from the sign in to the exams and to the Dr. Everything was positively super..they were impeccable..Dr.Zuckerbrod id awesome and I trust him with my eyes.. I am having surgery in less than 2 weeks. I WOULD HIGHY RECOMMEND THIS OFFICE..THE PROFESSIONALISM is OUTSTANDINGEITA GAINES

Dr. Zuckerbrod is very friendly and he is a very experienced eye doctor. My family has been going to him for years, and he is really good. The appointments aren't rushed and he does his best to answer patients questions as thoroughly The office staff are also very friendly.

Update... I received a personal phone call from Dr.Zuckerbrod on April 28th 2019 and he apologized for the way I was treated & misdiagnosed from my past visit within his practice.Thankfully I do not have Glucoma, as I explained to him from my second opinion results that I received from Michigan Glucoma Center. I appreciated his concerns.

HORRIBLE! Sept21/2018 I was TOLD I have Glaucoma! From a ethnic Female so called Dr. MY GUT/inner voice kept telling me their DeadWrong!!! Had no symptoms, no history. The Dr prescribed me glaucoma drops that have many side effects.. I Never picked up the prescription! I told doctor I'm getting another opinion I think you're wrong she looked at me & said not much. Well...I Just Got my 2nd From Mi Glaucoma Center.. Dr Siegel confirmed my intuition!! He says you DO NOT have glaucoma-VERY-disturbing! To SAY THE LEAST!This doctor should not be practicing obviously she does not know what she's doing. Wondering if she's getting perks for prescribing things people don't need

There can be a wait depending if the doctors were called in for an emergency surgery or a surgery presenting complications. There are times when the office staff needs to squeeze in an emergency office visit. Would you not want this accessibility if you were experiencing an emergency? Bring a book or find another doctor. The staff is friendly, supportive and excellent in efficiency and competency. Dr. Zuckerbrod is highly skilled and competent! Innovative in approaches. He also has compassion and patience for all his patients. Not all doctors have the skill or time or desire to be compassionate to our needs given the additional paperwork and changes in demands of insurance companies and changes in healthcare policies. Be thankful skilled doctors are still practicing with high levels of care and ethics. Dr. Zuckerbrod is a 5 star plus!!!!

Extremely overbooked. Appointment time of 3:30 and as of 4:15, still haven't been seen. To me, this is what greedy doctors do. Book more than you can actually handle to make more money. To hell with inconveniencing your patients.Now on another appointment scheduled for 4pm. Arrived at 3:45pm and let them know I have to leave for another Doctor appointment at 5:00. The response "you might be seen by then". Say what? Why are there appointment times if they can't meet them?!?

Very bad experience. All he ever wants to do is procedures or surgery. Had a procedure done with complication and he won't deal with it. Found someone else to fix his problem. Will never go back or recommend.

Ok I can only comment abut the one time I went there which was June 11 2015. I had to take my 91 year old mother in to get an exam as a prelude to her cataract surgery. WHen I got there we were shown right in. The first person we saw was a really awesome young lady who was so sweet, so cheerful. Lately I have gone to a lot of places for my mothers health and so many handle her like a piece of freight. They push or pull or yell. This person was so gentle, so graceful while she examined my mother with the various machines. She took the time to explain what the machines did and i was so truely impressed. Well they dialated my mothers eyes and we waited in the lobby which was comfortable and clean, until they were the right size. Then we went back and another woman did measurements on the cataracts. She was gentle and nice as well. Once again she was helpful and offered information as the exam went along. Eventually we saw the actual Doctor who seemed competent. I did not spend tht much time with him to really be able to praise a lot but the time that I did spend with him he seemed to be good. And lastly I had to deal with the woman who schedualed the surgery and had me fill out the obligatory paperwork. She was quick but thorough in explaining what each paper was for, let me read each one carefully without rushig me. Overall it was a very nice experiance. I am a lot more comfortable with my moms surgery if this is going to be the way she is treated. Like I say they dont tret her like freight but like an actual person who is scared, who is fragile, and they put her at ease and treated her with dignity. The only reason I gave them 5 stars is there was no place for a sixth. I would highly recomend them to anyone in need of their services I was truely impressed both with their people skills and their knowledge of their jobs.Post Script: Since this original post I have been to the office several times with my mother. Each time I got prompt, quality attenton from some of the nicest, kindest, careing people. In this case first impressions are correct. I would reccomend them to anyone.
