I am a medical professional. Dr. Nair talked to me as if he was my dad/brother/ family!!! A doctor who cares!!!! Thank you!

To begin with Dr. Nair is very knowledgeable and super intelligent in many matters but most importantly, his field of expertise. Something he does that most in his field don't is explain in detail everything pertinent to your situation. He also is super friendly. Been to many Doctors and wish they were all like him.

First visit. So far, so good. I feel good about the visit. The staff was friendly and efficient. Dr Nair was informative and explained my issue thoroughly in layman's terms. The questions I had today were answered to my satisfaction. Only 4 stars because it's my first visit.

All of the staff I came into contact with were very helpful and friendly--above and beyond other doctor's office staff. Dr. Nair explained everything very well and made sure that I understood what was going on with my heart. He was also very reassuring. I highly recommend Dr. Nair and this office.

Great discussion on afib... a must see doctor if you have afib.

First visit. Staff was all very friendly. Dr Nair was very easy to understand. He put things in lamen terms and gave a very good visual of how the electronics work in a heart.

I had an appointment with DR. Nair this afternoon. The front desk employees were nice. I filled out my paperwork and was checked in. At some point I was called to the back. The wait didn't seem too long, as I had started talking with some ladies who were waiting to be seen.While sitting in the examination room, I sat down and was asked a couple of questions by someone who was already present (sitting in front of a computer). Another lady joined who proceeded to ask me to sit on the examination table. She too asked a couple of questions and requested that I lie down and unbutton my blouse (for ECG). At this point, I requested the window blinds to be shut, as I could see cars in the parking lot. We proceeded with the ECG, and I answered a few more questions by the lady who was sitting at the computer. At some point, I advised that I didn't catch either of their names, as neither person had identified themselves. When asked, they both stated their names, however, they still never identified what their roles were.I waited again for who I thought would be Dr. Nair... At some point a lady came in and advised that Dr. Nair was running a little behind so she was there to assist him. Her name was Dana VITANOVSKI-PETROVSKI. Based upon the info listed on the site, she is a Nurse Practioner. Initially, I thought she was just coming in to get started, and thought the Dr would come in to finish. I never met Dr. Nair. When Dana came in she advise that my ECG looked good, and that I should not have anything to worry about based upon my test results pulled from Beaumont records. The reason for my visit was that I have been experiencing some new unusual issues. I explained that the symptoms that I had been experiencing are not consistent, which is why I came to see the specialist. I thought Dr. Nair would do some additional test, as a few had already been performed at the ER. The ER Dr. must have thought the same, as he felt that I should follow up with a specialist. To me, today was a waste of time and money. Don't get me wrong, Dana was extremely nice, and she took the time to answer the few questions posed. However, when it comes to health and reassurance, it takes alot more than just being nice. Furthermore, when you spend countless hours researching physicians, then select a specialist based upon your research, this is who you expect to see (unless advised prior to). I actually cancelled an appointment with a PA that I actually did previous research on to see Dr. Nair whom I also did research on. I had no knowledge of who Dana was. I thought that Dr. Nair would have at least had enough courtesy to come in and introduce himself.Overall, I feel like today was a waste of time and money. Dana pretty much read through my previous ER and hospital notes and advised that she felt like I'm clear of any issues. Don't get me wrong, I hope that I am all good, but I just want to be as thorough as possible to come to that conclusion. I will follow up with the physician who felt that I should see a specialist to ask him exactly what I should have expected. Again, Dana was nice, but was definitely not who I anticipated speaking with today. When you are dealing with health issues, especially new ones, you just want to feel a sense of assurance that all is well. I feel like she would have answered all of my questions, but it's one of those things where you just don't know what you don't know. In other words, I didn't know what questions to ask, as this is all new to me. This is why I decided to follow up with a specialist. They know what I don't know. With this said, I figured that the specialist may have been able to think about some things that I may not have thought about based upon their expertise.

Staff and Dr. Nair pleasant and efficient.

I had a very impressive experience with Dr. Nair. He knows his stuff, and he shared some of his knowledge using visual explanations about my condition. He wanted to make sure I understood what was going on, even quizzing me along the way! He spent a lot of time with me; I did not feel rushed as is usually the case in a busy practice. His staff was also top-notch, friendly, thorough, etc. I would highly recommend Dr. Nair.
