Horrible reaction to a drug and he's never been held accountable for his grave mistake.
Dr Hayward was my doctor about 8 years ago but I got married and moved away. He was the best! He is so caring, has the best bedside manner always lesson to you. I have not been able to find a doctor that compares to him, and I’am a diabetic so I really need one! So if you are looking for a great Doctor he is the best! I’am glad to see he is still practicing medicine. Thank you Dr. Hayward for all you done for me Sandra Arnold now Sherwood ??
Has been my primary Doctor for nearly 30 years. He has the bedside manner of a country doctor who truly cares. Does not judge. I am lucky to have him. I am not a fan of modern medicine in this country but Dr. Dan is a true professional with a comforting style. I like this guy alot. He is a good man.
DO NOT GO TO THIS DOCTOR. He is a pill pusher that will ignore or gloss over any problems CAUSED by the drugs he is giving out, and is known for stacking them over time which is clearly a dangerous practice. He is not interested in listening to his patients or healing them, but dispensing more drugs that cause even more problems and don't solve health issues. Why is he still considered legitimate?
I had been seeing doctor (I say this loosely) Hayward for a couple of years, and never seemed be able to openly talk about how I wanted to eventually get off the drugs or take a minimum amount. His solution is to simply prescribe drugs and even stack them in order to mask what might be corrected naturally or with life style changes. This can be a dangerous practice. Despite his bedside manner, he DOES NOT LISTEN when things need to be changed for your specific needs and merely either continues with drug "therapy" or even adds more. Months before I dismissed him for good I was having a gradual reaction to a drug that he upped the dosage on that made things worse. The drug was causing the problems he thought were not indicative of bad side effects, not my basic health! He either knows this and doesn't care, or is shockingly ignorant and that's no excuse. I believe he would have completely ignored my complaints and I suffered because of what he had prescribed at the time. Do not be deceived; he's not out to heal or cure, and one of many examples why people don't trust the medical community if you will.
i drove across michigan to see this doctor with level 10 pain , he didn't care at all he didn't help me at all and i'll never go back you see he immediately put it on me that i was in pain he told me i was " playing " the victim , after a horrible surgery in 16 i really needed help and this place was a HUGE mistake , no sense of compassion no empathy at all zero sense of urgency the guy doesn't care about me at all which is very common nowadays
I have suggested Dr. Hayward to many people. He and the rest of the staff at the clinic are professional and caring.
I've been going to Dr. Hayward about 20 years now. We have a very good re pore. Answers all my questions on issues and is very upfront and open . Easy to talk to. Nursing staff is great also.
My wife and I have been seeing Dr. Dan for several years and he knows us both personally and is a great counsel and well as a Doctor for us.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
