I usually have a great experience at this urgent care but this past time (Tuesday) it was horrible. I had an appointment at 124, which the receptionist I had was very short and not friendly. I did not get seen till after 2, which I was on my lunch break so it was cutting it close and what is the point of an appointment if you’re going to go 30 min past the time anyway. The nurse I had was also not great and walking back all the nurses/physicians were on the computers, which is that why it was taking so long? Then I get the physician and I say “did the test come back?” And he says “what test?” Was anything communicated between nurse and physician? Honestly worst experience and I unfortunately don’t think I’d come back.

The Urgent Care provider I saw spent less than 2 minutes in the room with me and didn’t perform any sort of exam, or questioning. The assistant was mid vitals and he was already done with my “exam”. He brushed me off, dismissed me and left the room. I will never return and would not recommend the Urgent Care to anyone. I went to a Henry Ford facility today and was greeted with kindness and care. The provider at Henry Ford was thorough and asked questions to understand my symptoms. I’m continually appreciative that I have a choice in providers and will never return to IHA/Urgent Care Canton. ** As an update, the “case is closed” and appeal through my insurance company. The clinic called me back said they know this provider doesn’t walk into rooms and will “talk to him about it”. But, because he charted notes and said standard of care was met, I pay for a visit that didn’t happen. Seriously, there was no “visit” or care provided. My blood pressure was taken, my temperature was taken by an assistant and that was it. A V O I D this clinic when this provider is working…. Better to actually just avoid it all together because your health is on the line.

Everyone was very pleasant and the process of being seen and discharged went smoothly. I like the fact that I can text to save a time spot for when I will be seen.
