Gretchen Korver's Online Review Report Card

Dr Korver is an excellent dermatologist. I have been her patient for many years.

I was very sad to leave my long term dermatologist after our health insurance changed. Luckily my dermatologist gave us a great recommendation to see Dr. Korver. Quickly, I called and set up appointments for my husband and I for our annual skin examinations. Several months later, I receive a call saying they needed to cancel our appointments because they needed a referral.... even though nothing was mentioned at the time of scheduling. I was told they would give me a couple days to get the referral. I immediately called my previous doctor to request the referral. 20 minutes later, Dr. Korver's office called back and said they were cancelling it anyways. This is so disappointing considering how long it takes to get new patient appointments. They should have honored the appointment or at least allowed 1-2 days to get the referral. If you want to be sent away before even being seen, call this office.

Dr. Korver is very knowledgeable and professional. I've been to her for over 10 years. Not only does she helps me with my skin care problems, but she also helps me with some of my women problems. I live at the lake and it's worth the trip down to see her, since she always get the diagnosis correct! So glad to have found her!

Like all new patients it takes a year to get in to a new doctor. After cancer and my work changing insurance companies while I was ill, I was devastated to discover that my other doctor dumped me due the loop hole of me being absent for over one year ( really after 11 years?!?). I have been to Gretchen twice now, and she takes her time and is very personable. She remembers things that you may forget about too. Not sure why others have rated her so low, but I have had no negative experiences thus far.

After waiting 9 months to see this doctor for a small psoriasis problem that turned into a very bad case while I waited to get in to see her, and making sure I was on time for it, I again waited in her waiting room for over an hour for a first in the morning appointment. She diagnosis me with psoriasis and called me in a perscription for a cream that cost over $200 dollars. Needless to say I did not get the medication and will not be going back to her.

I have severe psoriasis problem and been treated by another dermatologist for so many years and yet no good results not until I switched to Dr. Korver who took care of me during my worst time of psoriasis flare up, she managed to get me into normal level of my problems until it finally solved in a short period of time, she’s very professional and her staff, very concerned and she’s caring, to this Day am still in remission, I recommended Dr. Korver to some of my friends and highly recommend her to anyone.

Okay, being a dermatologist, their first concern should be keeping the skin good looking; well, this dermatologist has taken a tiny mole, removed it, and made it into the size of a GOLF BALL on my cleavage. So now, I have this enormous scar. I regret trusting this doctor. The office staff seemed so nice but the moment I wanted to tell my input and concern they turned into snatches instantly. Just please, pick a dermatologist wisely. I found a great dermatologist, dr. billie casse. Check her out before settling for scum bag. I'd probably let a person off the street operate on me before Dr. Korver.

Terrible bedside manner. I was unclothed and with the doctor and the door flew open because someone needed her signature. I was apalled not to mention misdiagnosed.
