Great service

The PA was nice and attentive but the medical assistant has terrible bed side manners. She showed very little sympathy and was rude.

I checked in at home! I was attending super fast! Staff is very attentive!

Where do I start? This is not my first time having had a less-than-stellar experience at this location. As a healthcare provider, I expect a high level of professionalism from the industry. That was my first mistake when I walked through the doors. Today, I took my 17-year-old in because he has been sick for nearly two weeks and is not improving. Granted, he does not look 17, but he is. We were called back by the tech, who did not introduce herself and started asking my son questions about his symptoms using medical terms he did not understand. She had her back to me the entire time, and my son continuously looked to me for the answers. Finally, I said, "Excuse me, he may not look 17, but he is; maybe you should speak to me." Her response was curt and rude, "He is the patient and knows how he feels, so I will be speaking to him." I countered that, as his mother, she should also speak to me. She clearly disagreed and continued. All the questions she asked made me think she was the doctor, so I asked if she was and then asked her for her name. Carrie may have been trying to be helpful to her team, but her line of questioning was out of her scope. She then asks about past surgeries, still with her back to me, and says, "I'm speaking to you since he's 17 and won't know about that." Professional, right? The NP working was equally dismissive, which is another can of worms for another day. We were there for an hour, and no one was in the waiting room when we came in. What were they doing? Discussing someone's recent weight loss outside of the room we were in. The NP ordered an EKG on my son when the SAME tech I had already told my son was a minor came in to do the EKG. She asked my MINOR son if he was okay with me being in the room for the EKG. He is a minor, Ma'am; yes, I will be present. I struggle to understand how this is acceptable. I sincerely hope that Beaumont/Corewell Health takes patient feedback seriously and makes significant strides to improve the overall standard of care their staff provides. Do not visit his location if you want compassionate, respectful, and courteous care. DO BETTER!

As always, I was seen promptly. I was not given unnecessary medication, I was given direction on how to best heal. Great visit overall.

Scheduled an appointment on line the Doctor saw me right away diagnosed and prescribed a script. Very positive experience

PA was very kind and helpful.

The doctor and nurse were polite, and I was very pleased with them. Front desk receptionist was awful. She wasn’t friendly and had no personality for a job that requires one.
