I would give him no stars, but that’s not an option. Saw Dr. Fogel with some bowel problems. He did a failed colonoscopy then sent me for more tests, finally told me I had a narrowing in my colon and nothing should/could be done. One year later I’m in ER. Found out I had an obstructed colon (diverticulitis). Had to have part of my colon removed. Stay away!!

Dr Fogel perforated my girlfriend during a colonoscopy. Now she has a giant scar up and down her stomach and tens of thousands of dollars in emergency surgery bills.

Please do not allow this butcher to perform any invasive procedures. In November 2020 Dr. Ronald Fogel performed what was supposed to be a routine colonoscopy. During the procedure he nicked my bowel which went undetected. Four days later my bowel ruptured and I had to be rushed into emergency surgery for a bowel resection, followed by a week in the hospital, two weeks in a nursing/ rehabilitation facility and two and a half months of in-home nursing care. I had a colostomy and had to wear a smelly colostomy pouch for 8 months until I healed and could have yet another major surgery to reconnect my bowel, which also took weeks of recovery. During the months that followed, I lost my car, my business and my home is now in tax foreclosure. Basically, I have lost everything and at 65 years old will never be able to fully recover financially or physically. I still have lingering bowel problems as a result. I was denied any compensation. On his website it claims he is affiliated with Henry Ford Hospital…HE IS NOT! Only his nurse practitioner is. He has no hospital privileges having left the hospital system abruptly and with no explanation. What’s up doc?

Dr. Fogel performed a colonoscopy on me in September 2020. Found nothing to report! 9 months later, I went to the emergency room constipated. Left the hospital a week later with a foot of my colon removed, a colostomy, and a stage 3 cancer diagnosis. Avoid this doctor at all cost.

He gave me a biopsie along with my colonoscopy and found the root of my problems. Everything went smoothly. No complaints at all.

Dr. Fogel was on time, which is great but cuts you off when speaking and is kind of rude. Staff is great though.
