List of Melody Fitzer's Reviews
Absolutely the worst. I hit a deer with my motorcycle in 2013, rebroke my clavicle. She looked at the X-rays and sent me home. The bone was broken and "clicked" when I moved it. I returned the next day with my complaint "its broken!". The ignorant nurse accused me of just looking for drugs. Then they did a CT scan and then she says oh it looks like a small fracture. I went to a Orthopedic surgeon and after he did X-rays and looked at the CT scan, it wasn't just broken but the one end was driven into the other end of the break and split the the other end. I had surgery, he had to reconstruct my clavicle, bone graphs, muscle graphs a plate and 8 screws 2 1/2 hr surgery. Fitzer is a terrible doctor. Thank goodness I found Dr Yusef in Rochester MI. That guy worked a miracle. Long story short, if you hear Fitzer's name run.
When I went in I was in extreme pain from my arthritis. I asked for a MRI or Xrays, all she did was put give me a shot.of i ibuprofen and sent me home.put me down fo alcohol abuse. Did I have a few drinks? Yes. Anything to kill the pain. She has a horrible bedside manner and doesn't care about her patients!!
Dr. Fitzer did a great job when I needed to be seen in the ER. She was very thorough and I left feeling confident in the care I received.
Took my son to er with stomach pain and fever. She came in asked questions got a phone call, left came back reviewed questions. Ordered blood work, and urine sample. About three hours later came back discharged, said it was a virus. Nurse comes in gives discharge instructions one of them being if symptoms worsen or get a fever of 100.4 come back. We left the hospital, got home fever of 102.4. There we're a lot of things that could've been done differently. Not impressed

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
