If I could do 0 stars I would. She is NEVER in the office. Every month it's like pulling their teeth out to get necessary meds ordered! The nurse just giggles while saying...oops I ordered 2 of the 4 necessary meds this time. 😡 EVERY month no refills on insulin! Shame on them!!

First off I waited months for new patient visit. Then she rescheduled multiple times, reception was very rude in dealing with the rescheduling (they called me) When I finally had my appointment She was beyond rude wouldn't listen to my concerns and suggested a care program that completely out of line with what had been working previously (from a different MD) she acted like a disgruntled med school drop out when presented with alternative ideas.

I am looking for a new dr. She said she was taking new patients. I was scheduled in November, that was canceled 3 days before the appointment. Rescheduled for today, 1 minutes before I walked out the door they called to cancel. Now waiting until March. Reason for Rescheduling was the dr doesn't want to come in today. Mind you, no storm or bad roads.

I have been an established patient with Dr. Balakrishnan for many years. In the last year I have been canceled on and rescheduled more times than I can count. I would not recommend this office to anyone. Certainly not a Dr. who takes her patients health into seriously. Don’t waste your time making an appointment, just to be cancelled on minutes before you walk out the door.

I had an appointment this morning first thing. Was about to walk out the door to go. I got a call that said the dr wasn't coming in today... and I had to reschedule. I am a new patient and waited about 6 weeks to get this appointment. They rescheduled me another 6 weeks out and said sorry. I guess they don't need new patients.

After 4 or 5 years of being my PCP and prescibing me metphormine she asked if I knew I was diabetic (diagnosed in 2014)..... and she tried to be more of a life counselor than a doctor. Don't recommend

I got prescribed some medication for my disorder, and my insurance unfortunately did not cover it. Got back with her right away to try something else and was told she will get back with me. A few days pass and I call the office, the front office tells me they will leave a note for her. A few more days pass, at this point I'm frantic, I ask again if she's gonna get back to me soon. At this point they tell me she's out of state, so of course I'm super frustrated. For one she prescribed my meds that started all this crap over video chat. Why couldn't she just pop on and call me really quick and then send the RX to my pharmacy? I called one more time and was told the day she will most likley get back to me and that day of course came and went. And now it's been over a month of excuses and for me numerous break downs and she still hasn't gotten back with me. She clearly doesn't care about her clients, will be looking elsewhere for a real doctor.

I finally got in after 3 cancellations. I finally got in today. She didn't fax over 3 scripts but did manage to send over 2 others she put me on. But 1 of those from previous years do not work for me. Soso now I have to take it back to the pharmacy and tell them to keep it since it doesn't work for pain for me. I'll struggle with the pain for the rest of my life!! Needless to say I'm looking for a new doctor!! A Doctor that will listen to me and give me medicine that will work for me!! I'm livid and don't recommend this Doctor!!

Our entire family switched to Dr. Balakrishnan. She is very friendly and respectful. Both, she and her staff, provide great care in Clare, Michigan!
