The doctor has a great bedside manor
Awful experience - terrible human being let alone physician. Lacked basic empathy when sharing my test results. Stay far away !
I saw Dr. Millman for the first time in 2019 as I was going to many doctors, taking many tests to get a diagnosis. He explained to me about the tests that would be performed. He assured me that despite what I’d heard the EMG would not be painful. I saw him after the test results were received and he explained as best as he could what he thought was happening. I didn’t see him again until this week. Even though he had only seen me briefly he must have taken copious notes, that he read before entering the room, because he related my entire history as he knew it. I explained why I was there. He listened. He performed some initial verbal and hands on tests. We talked. He prescribed additional testing, even though he does not think my issues are neurological in nature. I have already been scheduled for the new tests. I felt heard and cared for. I would recommend him and the other doctor in the office that does the EMG testing Dr. Caparella.
I was 20 min. late for an appointment and the doctor wouldn't see me according to his staff, even though my wife and I had both made calls to the dr's office to advise him of heavy traffic delays. Neither of us could get through, and were told by his answering machine "The office is now closed" (!!--at 1 p.m.?) His secretary told me she phoned me twice on my cell phone to ask where I was...but I found no messages on my phone from her. I have requested my referring neurologist to recommend another practice to send me to for a consultation he had me get. I don't care if Dr. Millman is Jonas Salk or Sanjay Gupta , sometimes you're only as good as the people around you...and this doctor's office staff appears to be a train wreck! P.S. He's hard to find on the web as is his phone no. He moved a while back and his info has not been updated. Also, his Ohio Drive, Lake Success address will have you driving in circles to locate it.
Dr. Millman tried to lead the conversation and didn't listen to me. I had a CT scan one week ago. I have been calling his office every day to get the results (which his office staff claims to have received) and I have not had the courtesy of a return phone call. Being ignored is NOT acceptable.
I have been seeing dr. Millman for neuropathy and he is managing my disease very well.
I am sure the doctor is a talented doctor. His office staff is a disaster. Good luck ever getting a human being to answer the telephone or call you back. I saw the doctor because of concerns about a medical procedure. He sent me for an MRI, everything came back normal. For reasons only he knows because his office has not shared it with me, he has refused to sign a medical clearance stating that’s not his job. I can’t get the medical treatment I need without the medical clearance. Don’t go.
My experience as a patient of Dr Millman is a very positive one. He is very friendly, very thorough, and seems very informative. I would recommend him .
I was impressed by dr Millman’s professionalism and knowledge. He took his time and explained everything to me. He was very nice and informative. I didn’t feel rushed at all. He’s one of the real doctors left out there.
I would not recommend this doctor. He does not return calls and could not be reached to get the results of a test that he ordered.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
