The staff and case workers are great to work with here. psychiatrist and therapist are as usual when coming to these places, they don't want to hear much from you while they tend to come off passive aggressive all while miss judgmenting the signs of me being annoyed by their strategies, I'm trying to find the best treatment for myself by helping you guys while you sit back and lable me.., do not ever over share your story in greater details than needed, it's unsafe and you'll start being ruled out with all sorts of things on your chart. Even meeting with the director and sharing a bit of my feed back, she flat out told me that I'm interested in seeing younger attractive women to help me with my mental care. She's asked me if I'd like a snack, a very kind gesture because she could tell I haven't ate all day, and when she handed me the snack, she rudely swiped her hand away as I was noticing some slight head tilts and stares, that's all I need to see from you, you're obviously way over qualified in what you do. Just do your job. (Reluctant lol) How about biased? You guys had me bouncing around this entire facility, how would you feel having to explain yourself over again to all sorts of people. Hope you learn something from this.

Do not see Dr. Iyani if you are or have ever been suicidal. Told her I had these sudden onset severe thoughts of suicide after starting a medicine she prescribed, she then assured me that I had not given it long enough to work. And that I should keep taking it. I then became consumed by these thoughts until nearly taking my life, within weeks. She then denied ever hearing me express that I was suicidal. Gaslit the whole situation and told me it never occurred and yelled at me stating she “would never do that” and then hung up on me. I have never encountered such reckless behavior from a psychiatrist ever!

I thought I had a bad experience at first, but they made things right, and now that I am feeling better mentally, I am proud to say that this place is amazing. Dana has been very helpful for me :)

Staff at mental health Access North is terrible, expected me to know who I was seeing even though they did not and can not know the information until intake, the help at the front desk was very rude and the operator who answered refused to give me his name to complain about them( I found out their names are crystal and Nick) apparently. They lack empathy and compassion and the social skills required to communicate with people that have special needs.

Crystal, has terrible customer service skills. Very rude over the phone. I don’t know if it was too early for her to take calls but she definitely need to readjust her attitude dealing with mentally ill patients.

been coming here for about a year now and every single time I come in, the front desk lady on the right is always so rude.. even if your super nice it doesn’t matter.. you’d think the people working in these places would be way more friendly considering the fact that most of us that come here struggle with mental health issues…

Best place to go for mental health services! All staff is excelent !!!!!

Help is available if you ask. Many mental health places are available. I enjoy going here. Its a little far from where I live but thats not a problem. My Psychiatrist has been helpful. And I am happy that I continue working on my mental as well as physical health. Thank you

Never go here!!! They don't monitor meds & u will develop more health issues...they cover up their mistakes by lying it's so disgusting. I've met so many in macomb county disgusted with this place.
