List of Macomb County Community Mental Health's Reviews
This agency is harmful to people who want to use the crisis line.. ive called many times specifically during overnight hours. The staff are so rude and literally have 0 empathy. I suggest if you're in a real crisis to avoid this place at all costs.
This review is SOLELY for Cheryl who assisted me with getting my prescription sent to the pharmacy. Seems the physician needed a reminder. Thanks again , your hard work IS appreciated.
Whoever answers the phone for this place must need mental health services theirselves. They sound sound so depressed and not happy to be working or answering phones. No wonder why people can’t get help with their mental health.
I recent contacted them as a friend referred me to them stating they helped with mental health issues. The person I spoke with I did all the talking. I basically went over all the issues I was having financially, emotional & mentally. I'm on the edge of giving up. He was mostly silent the whole time. Once he said sometimes you just have vent. Then said after several moments of silence said "Maybe something will come up." Then he went quiet again. I was so irritated & upset at how uncaring he seemed to be I said sorry to waste your time & mine & hung up. This was not at all what needed.
Awful. Places like this is why we have a mental health crisis In the US. Create the problem sell the solution right? 😂 What a joke.
Staff at mental health Access North is terrible, expected me to know who I was seeing even though they did not and can not know the information until intake, the help at the front desk was very rude and the operator who answered refused to give me his name to complain about them( I found out their names are crystal and Nick) apparently. They lack empathy and compassion and the social skills required to communicate with people that have special needs.
Terrible place. Especially Erica.
It's amazing how everyone is saying the same thing and there's no actually solution given except standard spined movement. How about you guys actually fired and hired some people with actually experiences that's related, I recommend reporting them to the Health Authority so that way you can go outside Macomb for better services because you have rights that people will violate especially when services like this give consumers a bad taste of services, move on from them you will be better off.
The Recipient Rights training was good and very informative, & a little repetitious in a good way.
Not even the people in the chat know what they are doing. I was on their site, even on the correct page, yet they told me to contact someone in that specific department. I thought that was the point of the chat, was to contact someone in said department.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
