I just had my 4th spinal surgery, Dr. Goldberger did my last surgery. Wearing the brace was a pain and on top of that I had to wear a bone growth stimulator for 2 hours each day BUT... the results are outstanding. I am back to doing all of the things I couldn't do before and I am PAIN FREE. I would recommended Dr. Goldberger to anyone.

Had L 3 and 4 fusion April 28, 2022 at Mclaren. I told them I was slow to wake up from anesthesia, they responded no problem. After my 3 hour surgery, I slept another 3 hours in recovery. When I woke up the nurse staff seemed very put off that I slept, did not even have me walk or pee and sent me home. My post op appt was set for May 11, 2022 and I could not drive myself, so made arrangements with family. May 3, 2022 I receive a call that the doctor decided to close the clinic on May 11 and I would have to be rescheduled for June 14, almost 2 months after my surgery, for my postop!!! I called back and stated that was unacceptable. The receptionist just stated well, it was the doctor’s decision. What kind of surgeon does this to surgical patients with no regard to the inconvenience for patients as well as their well being. I have never had an initial post op appt. bumped another month and dismissed. I must have good insurance or extremely bad insurance to be treated with such disregard.Michele Wages

Later on May 3, 2022, I received a call from the MHSI office manager, who agreed waiting another month was not acceptable and she rescheduled me for the original May 11th date for my post op with the physicians' assistant. I then received a call on May 5th from the marketing officer at MHSI who stated that since the incident was PARTIALLY their fault, but they did resolve it by rescheduling the appointment, she wondered if I could remove the review. Google would not allow me to remove it, so this is an update, although I am at a loss as to who is responsible for the other portion of this incident??

Kind man with a special touch for surgery. He treated me with the utmost respect and his staff is beyond helpful. I would recommend him to anyone needing spinal surgery as the impact of his work has changed my life for the better.

Spine surgery is never easy. But I can say this, Dr. Mark Goldburger corrected a very bad spine injury. I am mobile. I am not facing a wheelchair. I have a long recovery ahead. And I know that I'm going to be okay.Thank you Michigan Head and Spine Institute. And Dr. Mark Goldburger.

I had neck surgery in 2004. Had a bone fusion. Dr mark good burger was an excellent Doctor. I lost the use of my right arm. He put in a cadaver bone and plate with screws and help me get the use of my right arm back. It’s been 15 years now and still no problems. Thank you mark Goldburger. Dr. Goldberger & his team are phenomenal. I could not be more pleased with the treatment(s) I have received from him/them. He listens & carefully weighs the best course of treatment for his patients. He saved my life! My auto insurance is trying to wriggle their way out of their responsibility for payment by creating false narratives; Dr. Golderberger & his team are fantastic advocates for their patients. I am grateful for their care, their precision, their ethical standards & professionalism. I could not have chosen a better surgeon or a better team.

I have been through 3 surgeries with Dr. Goldberger. He has done the best for me every time without him and his head nurse Elizabeth I probably wouldn't be walking now day's I had to have my second neck surgery back on 12/18/18 and he did a real great job on replacing my disc on C4,C5,C6,C7 and it helped me relieve some of the pain I was having in my neck and left arm and hand. Every time I go see Goldberger and Elizabeth they always been professional about everything and think outside the box on what they could do to help me out. I never have felt uncomfortable with them and trusting them with my life because I know that they know what they are doing they do a lot of the same surgeries every week. I have been to a different doctor before my doctor recommended Goldberger and that doctor just made me feel really uncomfortable and they didn't treat me well there so I went to Dr. Goldberger and couldn't be anymore happy with the way they help me. I would definitely recommend Dr.Goldberger to anyone who needs a really good doctor for any spine issues.

Had 2 Herniated Discs and Arthritis. Well now and feeling great after my surgery!!!
