I have nothing but great things to say about this office, doctor and staff! The staff was extremely nice and I have always been in and out in under an hour. Dr. Goldberger and Elizabeth were my doctors and they were great. Dr. Goldberger was nice and answered any questions I had. Elizabeth is awesome, friendly, helpful and listens and explains things easily. I had my C-6 Disc replaced. The before care and constant contact, updates and information given to me up to my surgery was impeccable. After care was great. I had little to pain (probably cause the 3 days following my surgery my wife followed the pain meds to a T) but after that it was not bad. The only discomfort I really had was trying to get comfortable wearing the neck brace. The At Home care after surgery was great. The nurse was very friendly, happy and easy to have a conversation with. She also answered questions I and my wife had. The At Home PT I had was a great guy, again friendly, helped me understand what I should be doing In between appointments and was very helpful. The follow up appointments after surgery have been great. I know probably in the next 5-7 years I’ll have to have my C-7 disc replaced and also if the arthritis in my neck gets worse by then have that worked on as well. I can honestly say that I feel completely comfortable with knowing they will be doing my next one. Thank you for everything and also I was on 7 ish pills a day now I’m down to taking a Motrin or norco maybe once or twice a week!
I fell in July 2021 and suffered a spinal injury that resulted in a sequestered disc fragment. It left me in tremendous and constant pain depending on a walker for the very limited mobility that I did have. I could not drive and I had very little hope of not only umpiring baseball again, but even being pain free. Dr Goldberger performed surgery in September 2021 followed by physical therapy thru December 2021. I am so pleased to say I am walking, driving and sleeping pain free (without any medication), and looking forward to returning to the baseball diamond. I cannot put into words my level of appreciation for their skill, but their care was literally life changing.
Surgeon never told me how serious flank incisions were, I was left with a deformity and he never tied anything up when closing, the result, I was left with a horrible deformity..when I asked him to find a way to fix it , he said come back in 5 or 10 years! I have now found out he's being sued bt anther patient.Stay away! I'm left suffering for the rest of my life. And he couldn't of cared less..His initials are Dr. F.G.
I had a 2pm appointment today to see Dr. Goldberger and they called at 9 this morning to inform me that the doctor is not in today. This is the second time that this has happened. Problem being I live in Alpena and it is over 3 hours to drive down to go to doctor. I am truly frustrated with this practice. I wanted to schedule my surgery but I have little faith in this practice. When people are living in pain they need help not aggravation.
Horrible patient services at this place. Come in at your appointment time and pack a lunch. Always at least an hour wait in the waiting room and a long wait once they finally get you in an exam room. Staff is rude and think your time is not important. Finding another location and dr for my mom to see is my priority at this point. Given them a year and it has never gotten better and is NOT a one time thing. Been here for my mothers 11:30 appointment since 11:25 and we sat in waiting room until 12:50 and have now been sitting in exam room and it is 1:20 with no dr in site. Last time this place will see me or my mother and reviews for this place will be written in as many places as I can write them.
Usually I have a good experience. Dr. Farhat is awesome. I've been seeing Dr. Farhats nurse practitioner, today she seemed annoyed and nasty. I'm completely out done. I have been coming there for almost a year and now I feel like I may need to go somewhere else. She seemed annoyed that I'm still in pain and they can't figure out why. She seemed annoyed that I was even there. I'm the one in pain and suffering everyday and this is the way I was treated. Totally disappointed with the service I received today!
Your Phd Lisa Metler at the Novi office willingly took away my auto insurance coverage so she could make money, and so the insurance will hire her and MHSI to do more IME reports, since she allows them to bribe her while she commits medical malpractice. Doing IME reports is probably the only way Lisa Metler makes any money at all since her reviews are so low online, I would be surprised if she had any patients of her own. She is pretty much an insurance doctor and MHSI endorses her evil IME business that she does in your building.Goolge "Lisa Metler expert defense witness" and you will see all the cases that she has defended auto insurance companies against injured drivers. Very sick.
I can't say enough about how awful the office staff is here. Just the absolute worst at providing patient services. To begin with, expect to spend an hour or more in the waiting room before you are allowed into an examination room (every time - poor scheduling). And if you should need to get a refill of your prescription, you had better hope that a higher power intervenes on your behalf. You cannot talk to a nurse. You give your request to an automated answering machine or an answering service. Then it is passed on to the nurse, who may or may not speak to your physician to get it refilled. My fiancé called three times to get a refill with no luck. I called on his behalf. No luck. He's been suffering for four weeks with no meds as we waited for the day of his appointment to finally arrive. I cannot urge you strongly enough to consider a different physician's office. There will be nothing but a mountain of frustration for you here.
Barbara Hall, from the Southfield , MI office is extremely disrespectful and has not even the slightest clue of how to manage patient care, or customer service. My mother had an emergency surgery last year, where she almost went paralyzed. She is now having the same symptoms as before, and my mom has been trying so desperately for medical advisors to just CARE, LISTEN and to TAKE HER SERIOUS. Losing feeling in your right leg over night, and feeling the same symptoms as before when she almost went paralyzed IS an emergency, and has A LOT of room for concern. Everyone is telling her otherwise. But that’s not even the best part...It’s a shame that Barbara found it in herself to not only curse my mother out on the phone (she had Mrs. Barbara on speaker phone while at Royal Oak Beaumont in front of her nurse), she also hung up on my mother’s Nurse from Beaumont when the nurse tried calling to seek answers and an update from her surgeon Dr. Veyna. My mother was simply wondering if the doctors office could page Dr. Venya so he can observe her new MRI images.Barbara, you need to know that your actions were extremely unprofessional and uncalled for. In advance of that, this is NOT a way to conduct business. It’s really a shame that I have to submit such a horrible review for such a highly accredited institution. This review is no disrespect to Dr. Venya, he’s a great person - but before he thinks twice about managing my mothers symptoms and pain, he needs to manage his office staff.Barbara, you are not only playing my mother’s livelihood, you are dismissing legitimate concerns. When one can’t move their leg, they automatically begin to lose a sense of independence. A part of your job, Mrs. Barbara, is to be kind and patient, as you never truly know what someone is going through....Dr. Venya finally touched base with RO Beaumont, where he advised that he would like to investigate her pain and symptoms from an outpatient perspective.Well, that’s not happening. My mother will NOT be returning to this institution under Dr Venya. Again, before he tries manage her pain and symptoms, he needs to manage his office staff. Period. We will be seeking a second and third opinion and will be receiving treatment elsewhere. Thanks,Aaron
The 1st time I went there, the doctor I was given didn't handle my issue, he sent me to another doctor in the practice a few weeks later. He told me I wouldn't be billed and told the nurse. I went though the check out and she told me I didn't owe anything and gave me an appointment with another doctor. when i got there i was asked for my copay. I paid it. Things didn't work out with that doctor either. They are just way to busy. 2 months later I got a bill for the other appt copay. i called and tried to talk to someone. i wrote a letter to billing, still i kept getting bills. Now it's on my credit report. you are in the waiting room forever, front desk staff are rude.Doctor spent maybe 5 minutes with me. All he did was order expensive test (they happen to have their own MRI) and other therapy. I went elsewhere, to a doctor who explained to me about my coma and what we can do to get me better. Billing is also very very rude!!

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
