Every one here is super nice and professional! I have heard nothing but GREAT things about this place and the staff here! Would recommend to anyone and everyone!

Very caring and competent.

He kept me waiting 2 & 1/2 hours and gave me 4 minutes of his time. He was more interested in the students following him than me. He told me that there was nothing he could do for me. Another surgeon successfully fixed my back problems and relieved me of my pain. He deserves zero stars.

Zero Confidence in his abilities as a Surgeon, Why would I go to a Surgeon when he says I'm AFRAID You'll be in WORSE Shape than I already am after he does my Back Surgery, His Employer should do a Review on ALL his past patients, why they didn't have Surgery with him after they had the go Ahead from their insurance company, he Scared me Away, He's Incompetent in his Abilities, his Staff works very Hard in getting the paperwork approved and Because of his incompetence their Losing Business, and Unhappy Customers, Maybe he should find a New Job or have a few Lawsuits against him

My Dr. referred me to Dr. Veyna when my lung cancer had spread to my brain. Dr. Veyna saw me the same day. He admitted me to McLaren Macomb that afternoon.Dr. Veyna performed the surgery to remove the tumor. It went flawlessly, and I had a quick recovery. No complications or negative side effects at all.Dr. Veyna has a great attitude, is extremely attentive to your situation and needs, and I praise God that I had this great man for my surgery.I gladly give him the 5 star rating, and would go higher if I could.May God bless this man and his family.

If I could give him 10 stars I would. A truly gifted surgeon. If it weren't for him,I would be a widower.

Dr Venya did a 4 disc cervical fusion on me 10 years ago. I am very satisfied with his expertise. I have recommended him to a few people, one I know is living his life again as he was unable to do anything.If I need more done, and someday I will, I will return to him as I completely trust Dr Richard Venya

Dr. Veyna did my back surgery in December of 2017 and I am so thankful that I had him as my surgeon. He makes you feel comfortable and has a great bedside manner. I highly recommend him.

Not recommend Dr. Venya unless you want to wait hours past appointment time to see him. First visit I waited 3 hours before shown to room and another 20 -30 minutes before doctor saw me. Appointment was made two months in advance. Waiting room was packed and overflow had to sit in the outside lobby. Checking in I saw 90% of patients were seeing Dr. Venya. He overbooks appointments and sitting there for hours you get the feeling you are just part of the doctor's surgery production line. This was not a one time occurance, but 3 times . Waiting room always packed and I was grateul when I got to the room with only a 1hr 45min. wait, my appointment was 10:15 saw the doctor at noon. Also over 2 hourwait He also had little time for his patients. Never saw him before surgery and morning after as I was walking with an aide to bathroom, he saw me from the hall, said "you're up" and kept on walking. Hour later I was being discharged, he never came in to see how I was or discuss my surgery.

I can't believe the few negative reviews, there definately must be more to those stories!If I could give Dr. Veyna 10 stars I would. He is an awesome doctor in so many ways. There have been a few times there was a long wait in the office but that's because he gives everyone the time they need & believe me a good doctor is well worth waiting for! Unlike the 1st surgeon he was NOT quick to insist on surgery in fact he encouraged me to get other opinions & gave some options. I believe he wanted me to fully understand that it was possible that I may not get better, that it was possible that I could get worse. He was the ONLY doctor that fully explained, answered all my questions gave me the time on my appointments & really understood how I was feeling & not just about the pain. He was truthfulI! I believe he is of that rare breed of doctors that genuinely care about his patients & not only that, has a gift of healing thru his surgeries that could only come from God! All the while maintains humility about it.Sometimes there isn't the outcome we want, that cannot be helped everyone is different. I thank God for steering me to Dr. Veyna!
