wow disappointed in the staff in Orchards-losts of sitting around charting woth co workers-not cool!

Let me start off by giving credit where credit is due. Julia with the ICU nurse team is 10/10. She genuinely cares. I was in the best hands and was on my way to a good recovery. Then there is amber. The first words I heard the morning I got a new nurse when I rang my bell. Not “how are you.” No, “how can I help. Nowhere to be seen. Doesn’t give a damn about her job and needs to be removed. She does NOT CARE ABOUT HER PATIENTS WHATSOEVER. Put my food in front of me and just left it there with no assistance. Very rude and disappointed with the final care I was given, and that’s why I’m writing this review! Please do something about amber. When you signup to help people in the hospital, and don’t show initiation or thorough care, we are putting our lives in these peoples hands. Remember thst.

My daughter was in the birthing center it was an excellent experience . Nurses ensure patients’ cleanliness and comfort are top priority . They made my daughter feel welcomed and they were super sweet and caring . I would highly recommend them . Everyone in the birthing center were very professional can’t say enough .

The throw away all metal and called coos on me for recycling and forced me too stay there untill coos came what a joke

They say, 'No surprise billing'. In Oct I paid IN FULL IN ADVANCE for surgery. They show 0 bal. Yet I'm getting bills from surgeon, anesthesia.. This is twice now. Who knows what the original 3 grand covered.

93 year old grandmother went into the hospital being able to ambulate on her own with no assistance. For a slight UTI (Doctors words not mine) They have left her in a bed for 4 days only getting her up once and blood pressure dropped. She is now so weak from not being moved at all, that she has to now go to a rehab facility. They also gave her 3 bags of a very strong antibiotic for a slight UTI in there words. The nursing staff has been awful and has hardly come. They have treated her like she isn't even a person. They do not speak to her and tell her what there doing while there doing it. She has Afib and Blood pressure issues but has not been on monitors since leavening the ER days ago. I have been terrified she would die in the night and no one would know until they checked on her. Please do not take your family members to this hospital. They are only concerned with making money!

I’m not one to leave a review but I feel as if this hospital failed my mother. She came in a few days ago due to having seizure like episodes, she was having 3-4 daily that left her body spasming on the right side uncontrollably. She would go through bits of time where she was not thinking or speaking clearly due to this as well, I knew she was not at her normal baseline but they still sent her home saying there was nothing they could do. Funny how she’s at st Joes now and they are extensively looking at her, not just a simple heads scan and bloodwork. They have admitted her and will have her see a neurologist first thing this morning! If you want peace of mind for your loved ones do not come here.

I have had a couple of surgeries here an I highly recommend it to everyone. Between professionalism with a touch of sweetness an genuine care this is the best place to be. All the doctors an nurses are more than willing to spend the extra time to explain everything in detail an not be in any rush. Keep up the great work

Not a Place for People of Color This place is a cesspool of racism. I have never experienced it in my lifetime until I had the displeasure of spending anytime here. I'm sure there are good people that work here. However, they don't work in the ICU. Not only are they racist, they have a Mean Girl mentality. The manager Maura is not like that, but her staff are liars and bigots. If you have a choice in deciding where you or your family go for care, do not choose here. They call it "Happy Vally", but I guess that only applies if you are white. It's sad or society still has hatred in their hearts in 2023.

I recently spent 4 days at this hospital. From the first person I encountered in the er to each and every nurse, technician, food service employee, etc I was treated with kindness, care and exceptional treatment.
