No good, go somewhere else. You only have two eyeballs don’t risk losing one or both to this “dr” hasan hakim’s incompetence!

Don't go to him. He like to take people eyes out. Then when you ask him to take care of the issue he created. He want to perfer you to one of his family members. Like why would a person go to anyone you suggest after you messed up a cataract surgery procedure in the first place. When the patient found a dr. that could save the patient eye. He suggest that the patient go to his dr. he know can remove the their eye. Then he refruse to help cover the surgery to save the patient eye. Now the patient is blind out of one eye. He refuse to help the patient to get the surgery to save the patient eye so the patient can see agin. Do not go to this man. He just want to take advantage of the little people. Then when it come to negligence on his part. He'll try to get a free pass and prefer you to one of his other surgent. Please do not be fooled.... He'll take advantage of you. If he mess up on you. Don't become half blind. The doctors who save the patient eye work at Kresge Eye Institute. I've heard nothing but good from these doctors. They can even give the patient their vision back. While he can just take your eye out and leave you permanently blind. Do not go to this man. You've been warn.

Dr. Hakim provid service above and beyond any doctor I've seen in my 40 years (no pun intended). There was a terrible storm on the day of my exam and surgery. They waited and performed the surgery to correct my astigmatism that evening and I will going back for a second type. Super satisfied. Superior doctor. Stellar services.

The worst possible experience anyone can ever have after having such an important procedure done.

The experience I had with Dr. Hakim is the worst I've ever had with any doctor. He was unprofessional, sarcastic, and gave me zero post- operation instructions. I needed something simple corrected and now I haven't been able to see properly up close or far away for over a week. I went in for a consultation and he convinced me on the spot for an impromptu surgery. Although I was hesitant , he continued to insist that there would be no down time and I would be able to see the next day. I went it to repair the glare when I drive at night- now I can't even drive at night!! If things don't get better soon- I may have to sue him for falsely informing me and even though everyone's results may vary- no one ever intends to come out 10 times worse than they went in.

He only cares a bout the money

I had a vision correction surgery eight days ago. I found Hakim Eye Center via Groupon, I was worried at the beginning because I could not find any review about here. My first impression I got there was still unknown and their sign of clinic was falling off from their building but everybody their was very nice. Dr. Hakim did very great job. no scars, no dry eye, and no redness which I was worried. I was very happy about the result. I went to someone else before Hakim Eye Center and told me $3700 charge because they do not have a machine in their place and care about me after the surgery. Hakim Eye Center cares about you after your surgery as well with the price and it is not just to go surgery.

Dr. Hakim was great. He did my laser eye surgery 2 weeks ago and explained the procedure before hand very thoroughly. Told me exactly what to expect after. I bought a living social deal to see him (of course everyone thought I was crazy) but Dr. Hakim treated me extremely well and now no glasses!!!!

I absolutely loved him. He took his time and explained what was wrong with my daughter and when i called the office with questions he was always helpful and patient.
