List of Stelian Marinescu's Reviews
While he did diagnosis & put a stint in for my mom as her er doctor, to which we are grateful, the fairytale ends there. Would never listen to any questions, always waving you off like you were stupid, kept my mom on medication that drove her crazy with itching & rash because he refused to listen to anything.
Took my dad to Dr. MARINESCU. He put a holter moniter and found out he was having events of his heart stopping for 5 seconds few times a day. Doctor said he needs a pacemaker. Dr. Performed his procedure. My dad is very happy with Dr. Marinescu. He says he is very caring.
Let's face it...most of us know after the first appointment that you will probably have to wait for a bit to sometimes a longer bit but can I ask one question??? WHY??? Usually it's because Dr. Marinescu takes his time with you or an emergency comes in? What if that emergency was you....similar to the doctors that deliver babies what would you want him to do???? Go to the appointment or stop everything and do what was needed to help save your life? Just a thought 🙂 Thank you Dr. Marinescu 🙂
I have been seeing him for several years and I feel confident with his diagnosis, amount of testing and his knowledge. I worked previously for a cardiologist and know he is doing the utmost for his patients
Great doctor and he will take care of you
Waited 90 minutes. Appointment was for 1230 to just review an echo. I asked at 2pm when the doctor would see me. Staff told me he was at lunch, but "that's par for the course". I walked out, not going back.
Don't even waste your time. We waited hours for this Dr. to discuss scans. After 2 hours, the staff says the Dr. was out to lunch and never showed up. They never returned our calls and inquiries. This was an unprofessional and terrible experience.
He because my mother's doctor when she went by ems to Oakwood Hospital because of a mild heart attack. He performed the stint surgery & has been her doctor since, maybe 10 years now. We never should have let it get to 10 years, he never listens to a thing anyone has to say, my mom, me, her home nurse, he listens to no one. My 85 year old mom gets all worked up before an appointment with him because he asks her a million questions about her medications & why she's on them, timelines of her medical events, things that he should already know the answers to just by looking in the computer! He ignored me asking what was an acceptable amount of sodium for my mom to have....came back with NONE...which is impossible since its in practically everything you buy, but that was the answer i got & he left the room. He's extremely hard to understand and looses patience with you when you don't understand him so my mom just stopped asking him. The final straw was two weeks ago when I called & explained that a particular medication he had her on was making her tired, lethargic, headaches, itching, etc. She spent 10 weeks in the hospital & rehab & the medication was overlooked, she did great & felt 100% better, then he put her back on it. My mom said when she told him at her appointment he told her the medication had nothing do to with it & ended the discussion. So I called, talked to the receptionist who listened very patiently and expressed that it was important that I was noticing these things & called, that she would speak with the doctor & he would call me back...that was 2 weeks ago, I've heard nothing from him. I went on line & all the problems my mom is having are side effects of the drug that he told her had nothing to do with her problems. So we are done, my mom felt a loyalty to him because he did her surgery & saved her life, but that only goes so far when the doctor refuses to listen to you & work with you.
Although you may have to wait in the waiting room a little longer than others, it is definitely worth it. I have found Dr. Marinescu and his whole staff outstanding! I wouldn't consider placing my heart under anyone else's care. He has saved my life once already when I was considered gone. His humor and concern for his patients is genuine and I feel safe and confident under his care.
This doctor is an absolute joke. Whenever your appointment time is add 2 hours to that. This man doesn't cares about anybodys time except for his own. His office is in a dirty ghetto motel. What kind of professional uses a motel as a dr office. And the man cant even speak english for crap

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
