I had my first visit and it was awful. My appointment was at 9:30. They tell you to arrive at least 30 minutes early to check in/register, which I did. Get to Dr. Bishop office not a long wait in waiting area. The nurse took my vitals, I asked her not to tell me my blood pressure readings, she didn’t; however, the monitor was turned so I could still see it. She asked my weight and height instead of checking for herself. Then I get to the room(all this before 9:30, but after 9:00) and I wait. I think by at least 9:45 the doctor would be in the room. HA! 10:30 a resident doctor comes in to ask me the same questions on the paperwork I filled out. I asked him why the doctor wasn’t in there especially since my appointment was an hour ago, he claimed the doctor would be in 3-5 minutes after he got answers to my questions. HA! I needed to be at work by 11:00, still no doctor. At that point myself and another lady came out our rooms and asked what the problem was for the wait. The office manager/director came and apologize and asked the nurses if the doctor was running late/came in late and the said NO. HA! Obviously he was running late if I had been waiting for an hour and a half. The manager/director told me I would be next. I just left because I was already late for work. The other lady said this happened to her before and she waited 2 hours. They asked her if she wanted to reschedule, why would someone want to reschedule when this constantly happens. I did blood work before the appointment, let’s see if I get my results.

Dr. Bishop has a team of doctors who are willing to listen, willing to to include you in the diagnostic process, and willing to try to help you. Dr. Bishop and his team are the best doctors in Metro Detroit for difficult to diagnose cases.

Very pleasant, knowelgable. Exellant staff also well versed in their fields. Office staff very pleasant and helpful. Would recomrnend him and them to others. He found out what nih could not even determine! Thank you so very much. You get a five star out of five stars from this old navy nurse.
