I have been a patient of Dr. Devon Hoover for almost a year and with each encounter he has treated me with the utmost respect and concern. Dr. Hoover performed a successful anterior cervical discectomy and fusion but walked me through the pros and cons to consider before I elected to move forward. Recovery times varies from person to person but Dr. Hoover continues to listen to any and all of my concerns post-op and continuously offers the best treatment plan for me.

love dr Hoover excellent bedside manner but afer my stroke its been a year abd we are at a loss to my prognosis and no follow up treatment plans whatsoever no return call when information requested

Dr. Devon Hoover is a wonderful doctor, who explains in detail test results. He takes all the time you need answering all your questions patiently.

Dr. Hoover has been my neurosurgeon for 10 years, and has performed two spinal fusions in that time. Having worked in an MRI facility for 30 years before retirement, we had the ability to rate physicians for our personal use. Which is exactly why I rate him 5 stars, and highly recommend him. He takes ample time to listen to my issues, explain options, and thoroughly discuss any results of radiology images. Overall, he’s the type of physician we’d all like to have in our corner.

Dr Hoover was able to repair my spine surgically on a Wednesday afternoon, and I was home Thursday morning- carefully walking. :-) It's been ten days since my surgery, and at this point my main concern is finding the inner strength to put off Crossfit training for another couple weeks. 10 out of 5 stars!

Do not go here! Find a top Neurosurgeon who cares about you and will get you in to see him asap. Someone who will follow up with you via phone and staff. Someone who looks for solutions immediately and not require you to stay in excruciating pain for over 1 month until the next appointment! Go to St. Clair Orthopedics & Sports Medicine for top docs and top care!
