My husband has been seeing Dr Barkley for over 30 years he has saved his life many times. Our family trust him with my husbands life. He is one of the smartest and brilliant Dr we know. He is very kind and explains every thing in terms we understand. We have known for years it’s hard to get an appointment with him so we adjust and the reason he is always running behind is because he is with a patient that needs him so we don’t mind the wait or how long it takes to get appointments because we know when we see him he is going to improve my husbands life and we are great full for his assistant Jennifer Logan she always calls back in a timely matter and if your problem is bad she confers with Dr Barkley So thank you Dr Barkley and Jennifer Logan for all you do

I was a little girl and having seizures. When my parents found the Epilepsy center of Michigan they called them and scheduled an appointment. Sure enough Dr. Barkley became my physician and I never had a seizure in front of him but he could tell I had one. Sure enough he found me a good surgeon and I had brain surgery there and I've been seizure free for over 20 years and if it wasn't for Dr. Barkley then I'm not sure where I would be today. He is such a wonderful physician and I'm glad my parents found the hospital and if I have any questions regarding my epilepsy then I call him to ask him before I speak to my neurologist physician I have now.

Dr Barkley is a 100% caring person, I remember when I started seeing Dr Barkley I could see it to. In 2 yrs I became sz free. Of all the Neurology Dr I saw never have I seem a dr that cares so much. Form all tests of what he did with me I became sz free going on 20 yrs sz free thanks to Dr Barkley, Plus if I have a problem I call him and his receptionist call's me back and sometimes he does, he cares, So any body with Epilepsy I suggest see Dr Barkley, have to go getting tears in me from how happy I am to have Dr Barkley, But must thank my family Dr sending me to Dr Barkley

I have seen Dr Barkley over 20 yrs and I the work he do for me.. He found a medication to control my seizures. But his staff is horrible and rude.. The only thing about is that you wait for him over an hour but I can say it is worth it. Henry Ford needs to employ more neurology doctors and better staff, so his patient are able to see him more and doesn't have to wait . His nurse or secretary doesn't return calls..
