Nice clean place. Newer equipment compared to other places. Great teachers for the many classes offered. I live the warm pool too. I join in the classes that offer more gentle workouts for people with arthritis. If the membership seems expensive, its not if you use it regularly and use all that they have to offer. Of course you can go to the other locations for different classes as well.

I love the Dexter wellness center! I go there every time I am in town visiting my family. It's a huge facility that is well-maintained and clean. They have pools, a track, lots of cardio equipment, all the weight machines you could want, lots of free weights, at least two studio classes, and nice locker rooms.

Great equipment and a good price but caters to the older population. Is this a gym or a library? If they made the gym more family friendly or a place that young adults could hangout then would be ideal. Did speak with someone that works there about all the excessive signs and she was a great listener. Hope to see positive changes to encompass a more lively welcoming environment in the future.

This place is a GEM, the therapy pool is big enough for 75 people, that’s incredible and often I have the whole pool area to myself for an entire hour or more, sometimes the lap pool may have a few people and maybe the therapy pool a few. But the whole facility water area is often so private I feel like it’s my private luxury escape. Hey, tell yourself what you will to get through recovery! The wellness center is just that, a place of wellness, kindness, and purpose. There are scholarships available and the healing power of the sauna await. One more BIG thing: they do have a swim suit spinner & plastic bags to put your wet duds in, shampoo, conditioner, body soap and all the stuff you need after and towels and hair dryers. Basically, you can take your express gym bag for shower purposes!!

Updated to say- we've never had an issue with Dexter. Everyone here has been lovely and kind with phenomenal customer service.

I absolutely love this gym, especially the classes. The instructors are so professional and knowledgeable. I especially like Kelly F. She truly cares about her participants. She even took the time to educate me on my new cycling shoes and put the right cleats on for me. This is above and beyond.
