List of Valal K. George's Reviews
Came in to look for answers for my kidney stones and on the first visit when questioning he asked “how many stones have you passed?” I responded, “two i had to go to the ER for but i think i have passed more than that based on the pain i feel when they are passing.” He responded with “kidney stone pain isn’t to be confused with menstrual cramping.” I’ve been about four more times to his office since then against my best judgement and he is unwilling to find solutions on how to work with me to get rid of the stones. Every office visit it has been the same conversation with no probable solution. Avoid him.
I had Dr George do my kidney procedure and removing my stone and he did an excellent job and I thank him very much
Lack of concern for patient’s understanding of condition and surgery. No notes left for patient after surgery, no phone call, nothing. Patient was refused an support person (spouse) to be present during visit when patient had obvious signs of anxiety. Reasoning was COVID restriction. After 2 visits and a surgery patient still does not know about follow up care. Questions were not answered since the person who held the patient’s questions was pushed out the room! Will not be returning. If such concerns for COVID, staff should plan appointments better so that waiting rooms are not packed and visit is 90 minutes past scheduled time.
This is the worst doctor I've ever seen in my life. He is not professional. He is very rude. He will make you come to his office every 30 days for the next 3 years in order to make more money from you while you are suffering from your health condition. Avoid him at any cost.
My dad is a patient and Dr. George is always very rude and always running very late. My dad is looking for another doctor, he is 90 years old and shouldn't have to put up with a rude doctor.
I was admitted through E.R. and Dr. George was urologist on call. He told ER physician likelihood of my stone passing was small. Being on call, he is required to SEE the patient for consult. Hr was in St Clair Shores and I was in East China. He had no intention even though he was on call to come in and evaluate me. Instead, he evaluated my case by phone and discharged me by phone to nurse, never speaking to me or physically seeing me. Pure laziness on his part. He told them to have me follow up on Monday. I was being discharged on a Wednesday- again, no intention on coming back to East China til then. Sorry doc, even with 47 yrs experience, when you're on call, there is a certain obligation you have to see and evaluate a patient. If you don't want to do your job, retire. I feel I dodged a bullet based on what kind of shotty job would he have done removing a stone if he can't even drive to see a patient. Time to move on and let more passionate ones take over.
Continous visits over time after he makes a medical error as usual. I do not recommend this physican to anyone unless you want long time future sufferings from his erros.
Dr. George has all the bed side manner of a piece of barbed wire. after he performed surgery on me I asked him a question about my sexual health and HE LAUGHED and then he made a sarcastic remark. I will NEVER return to him and I would NEVER recommend him to anyone...the office is like an assembly line...he is inattentive....you know one of those doctors that has one foot out of the exam room as you're asking him questions about your health issues.
This doctor performed circumsizion on my boyfriend. His bedside manner was so horrible. His stitches were very sloppy and he didn’t even dress the penis with bandages. When he was finished the operation he came to me in the waiting room to tell me it was over. I had questions for him since my boyfriend was heavily drugged from the operation. My first questions were about aftercare, changing bandages and icing etc... he said “use your best judgment” what kind of advice is that!?
The doctor and staff, from multiple offices, did NOT listen or show any concern when current and NEW progressive symptoms were clearly stated. Dr. George, instead, dismissed each symptom as possibly being something else. Yes, weeks after being diagnosed with kidney stones I suddenly have developed arthritis, pelvic prolapse, and several other illnesses. Not. Seeing a nephrologist now to assess, hopefully, correct, these issues. Zero concerns for pain management. Would not recommend at all.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
