Dr. du Plessis is one of the best doctors I have ever seen. She took the time to explain everything and was thorough. She is the only Dr. who took the time to explain, give options and spend the time, making me feel comfortable. I would absolutely recommend her to anyone!

Very thorough with several challenges I have had. She always develops a plan A, plan B, plan C, and plan D to start. Then as we go through the plans she rules items out and makes changes. I read reviews and some felt she was abrupt. I found her matter of fact and to the point which I appreciate honestly. She also did a robotics partial hysterectomy- amazingly with what she removed and all the endometriosis- it was the easiest and quickest recovery I have ever had. Highly recommend.

Worst OBGYN I’ve ever seen! I saw her when I was 30 years old. She asked me if I ever planned on having kids and I said yes. Her response was “better have them now or it’s not going to happen.” I wasn’t in a relationship at the time. I’m 32 now, married and we got pregnant within 2 weeks of trying. She treated me like I was stupid, she was very cynical, dismissed valid concerns I had and I always left offended. I had cysts after my IUD and she kept telling me that the pain was normal. I had to come in many times to finally get an ultrasound to validate the concern I had. I had a very large cyst. I saw her about 5 times total. I kept giving her second chances. I DO NOT RECOMMEND!

I went to her to get my tubes tied. I was 40 and not interested in having more children. She insisted on removing my tubes, and doing an ablation. The tube removal caused issue with the stumps, and her ablation led me to 3 more D&C’s by another doctor, to clean up the cells she left behind. She was condescending to my husband and rude to me. Find a better doctor.

Dr. Du Plessis is an amazing doctor. She is very experienced and delivered my baby. She is incredibly knowledgeable and was able to diagnose and treat any problems very quickly. I highly recommend her.

Dr did not listen or take me seriously while unexplained how depressed I was, 1 week a month. Said "so what if you are in menopause" and go out with your friends and have wine! Then said she wasn't a psychiatrist but maybe wellbutrin would help but said she didnt knowing I could take for just a week. Then said if I wanted it to call the office back. Unprofessional and inattentive. I felt like she may have been in a hurry. I will not be seeing her again.

Dr Du Plessis is wonderful! She takes time to answer any questions and gives straight forward answers.

I absolutely love Dr. D. She's one of the very best OBY-GYN's I've encountered. Very thorough, very open with her patients and strives to help them with their medical needs. Finding her was a "God-send." My primary physician was taking a more passive approach to a health issue, in fact two, Dr. D came in and handled the situation effortlessly, explaining why she made the choice and what the outcomes could be and we did it and I feel at least 85% better than I did before seeing her.

Really a great doctor. One of the best gyno's I ever had. Extremely knowledgeable and explains everything in great detail. She spends all the time you need with her and never makes you feel like she's in a rush. I never leave her office with questions, and I always know my options. I wish all my doctors were so informative.
