He is only interested in doing money making procedure and doesn't care about patient. Saw him 3-4 years back after being referred by my Primary care, he did my colonoscopy and even did have courtesy to give a follow up appointment to discuss the issue and next steps. Every time i called his office they tried hooking me up with a PA.Also I saw another Gastro in San Francisco and he was surprised to know how come this doctor didn't point me in right direction after knowing the symptoms.STAY AWAY , he is horrible.

Dr. Ahmed and his staff have been incredible! They were able to get us in to the office quickly and we had a diagnosis soon after. We worked with Sal for the nutritionist referral and I have never had such amazing customer service from a doctor's office! Sal listened to our situation and was so helpful in getting us a referral in good time. Thank you so much for all your help!!

Dr. Ahmed is very nice, and I'm sure very knowledgeable; however you see him almost never, given over to a PA. That's fine in many cases, but they don't get into too much detail. Plus, and most importantly- their office staff is terrible. It takes days, sometimes weeks to get call backs. My sister-in-law is still waiting to hear about the status of her terminally ill special needs brother. This is unacceptable. I wlll find a new doctor.

Dr. Ahmad answered all my questions and actually talked to me about my medical plan and dictated a summary of my visit in front of me, giving me opportunity to ask more questions and make corrections. I was surprised- I was pleased with the visit.
