List of Rafid Yousif's Reviews
Called in October to make an appointment for a procedure. Had an appointment in December that was then pushed to April due to emergency gallbladder removal. Called the office to check about the April apt because got a notice it would be at the hospital instead of in office. Was told by the office it was to have it done with the gallbladder, which was done in December! Canceled appointment and rescheduled for a 3rd time for May. Go in and the Dr. explains there is a hernia that may become an issue during the procedure so we won't be able to do it. Find out from the front office that is what the April appointment would have been! Terrible communication, they charged my card back in December and said they reimbursed us but never did. Told me to just "call billing". Then charged us even more at the May appointment but still didn't do any service! Probably won't be calling to reschedule, I'll just have McClaren do it.
Dr. Yousif is a great Doctor. Takes time to explain and answer questions. He treated me in the Hospital for a large Kidney stone and also did several prostrate by-opsy and his work was very good. Also Staff and P.A.'S are great.
Less than satisfactory
I have seen Dr Yousif and staff many times over the years and they have always been attentive at taking care of any issues and follow up care was excellent. Thank you for all you have done.
Dr. Yousif has proven that he cares about me as a friend and patient. He has saved my life on multiple occasions. There are not enough words to express my gratitude for the remarkable doctor he is.
Why would you go to a doctor you never get to see? His staff is not him. I tried to schedule an appointment for my dad to see Dr Yousif and his staff gives you the run around. Not impressed. When my dad has pain he can't wait 4 months out to see the doctor himself.
I have been a patient of Dr. Yousif for many years. during the last several years I have had a UTI and have been prescribed a number of different antibiotics, none of which worked, more significantly during this time I never had a visit with Dr. Yousif; only his nurse or nurse practitioner. Recently the drug prescribed by the office has caused major urine bleeding and according to web documents should not be prescribed to patients over 75. I am 85 years old!
As a fellow physician, I sought help from Dr. Yousif since I had sent so many satisfied patients to him for their urological problems over the years. I ended up having prostate surgery (TURP) and I was totally impressed by him and his wonderful office staff. I had a perfect surgical outcome. Also, his medical assistants, front office and scheduling staff were efficient and polite. His NP, Carissa was very professional and competent. I will obviously continue sending patients to Dr. Yousif, especially now that I have had personal experience there.
Dr. Yousif has followed my prostate cancer for 3 years (active monitoring) --ultimately leading to a full prostatectomy in Dec 2020. The skill and care provided by him and his whole team (Dr. Kazmers, radiology, PA, office staff, etc.) were great. I am doing great and am appreciative of the whole team's efforts.
While I felt I got good care from Dr. Yousif some years ago, a time came when I needed surgery to remove my bladder. He proposed a traditional approach and invited me to seek a second opinion. Ultimately, I elected robotic surgery with a smaller incision and shorter recovery time at the Cleveland Clinic. Years later, my nephrologist recommended that I see a local urologist as I had bilateral nephrosis. ...

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
